The card is extremaly convenient for the tourists that wants to get to know the city and in my personal opinion even for the locals who wants to enjoy a day and concentrate a lot of touristic places in one single day. The day was very predictive and unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy it all attractions so my suggestion is if is your first time in Lisbon you should plan at least the 2 day option, the sunset at castelo São Jorge was one of my favorite part of the day and the best way to appreciate and say goodbye to a Lisbon, really hope to comeback someday and for sure will use the Lisbon Card

Good organization for picking up the card at the airport. Very convenient for public transport, with a top-notch network. Access to the 28 tramway is a little difficult, but it's better to take it on the way rather than at the terminus, as recommended, because it takes over an hour to get on, even though the stops are marked along the way. The only drawback is that entrance fees are included, as it's hard to know where to go depending on the location. In fact, at the Belém monastery, we were refused entry despite having a valid card.

When activating our Lisboa Card at the airport, our card was not registered, although we were able to show a QR code and had paid in advance. The employee at the information desk tried very hard to find our cards, but without success. In the end, he gave us two Lisboa Cards against a signature, which worked perfectly.

I bought the Lisboa Card on Instagram. I was afraid it might be a scam but everything went perfectly smoothly! I picked up the cards at the Cais de Sodré Tourist Center and was able to access the buses, subways, cable cars and tourist sites without paying anything extra and without queuing! I saved a lot on Uber! I loved it!

Having the card made travel and visiting many sites in Lisbon so easy. We hopped on and off buses, trams and trains and got to see many sites.

Very good experience, it's really practical for visiting monuments and moving around without limits.
  • Stroll through royal quarters

Known as the residence of the Portuguese royal family from the reign of King D. Luís I to the end of the monarchy in 1910, this palace was revitalized by Queen D. Maria Pia de Sabóia in 1862. Marvel at the original arrangement and decor of the rooms, preserved to this day. Take the opportunity to stroll through this magnificent site, especially the monarch's quarters and the throne room from the 18th to the 19th century. Strategically placed atop the Ajuda hill, enjoy panoramic views of the River Tagus. Take note of the important collections from the 18th and 19th centuries, including decorative arts in gold and silverware, jewelry, textiles, ceramics, glassware, engravings, and more!
