It went wrll so far, but the directions on headway were a bit confusing from the airport to the train entrance. We had to walk quite a long way from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4 for the train entrance. We followed the signs and honestly it was over a 10mins walk. Otherwise everything was smooth, tapping our tickets and getting on the train and you need to scan your tickets to have the train exit gates open so you can leave the station as well.

Located in Bayswater it was close to Paddington station and made for an easy commute to Heathrow. Booking through headout was easy and took the pressure off last minute ticketing at the station.

Using the Heathrow Express is certainly the best way to get to and from London. The train is spacious and easily accommodates luggage. Getting off and on with luggage is also easy as exiting is at the same level as the platform, so luggage rolls off as easily as you step off onto the platform. The ride only takes about 20 minutes, so it's certainly quicker than traveling by road. The Heathrow Express is air conditioned so it's a comfortable ride. There's also free wifi. You can't best the travel into London, in my opinion!

I travel a great deal and have taken lots of public transportation. This by far was the easiest and most comfortable way to get into a large city from an international airport.

Hop on the Heathrow Express and zoom directly to London Paddington Station and the heart of London in under 20 minutes.
