The card is very convenient. Unfortunately, you might think you already have the card (ticket), but that’s not the case. You still have to get the card activated, and that’s not possible everywhere. It cost me a lot of time and a few miles on foot 😂😂😂😂. After that, I was very happy with it.

This pass is really great! We were in Barcelona from Thursday evening to Monday morning and were able to pick up the pass right away at the tourist information office at the airport. From that moment on, we could immediately take the metro to the city center, which was ideal. With this pass, you get unlimited travel on buses, the metro, and trains for the number of hours you purchase. That makes it super flexible and hassle-free during your stay. For 5 days, I think it’s definitely worth the money. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona!

It was difficult to find the information booth on the Plaça Espagnole where we got our tickets. It wasn't open all the time either. It closed again right after our visit. Actually, you don't need to book in advance at all; you can buy the multi-ride tickets anywhere. It's great to be able to use them everywhere on the red buses and the metro, though.

This is the perfect way to travel around the city and to and from the airport as much as you like. Perhaps you could also mention that the tickets can be picked up at the Touridt Office at the airport.

Seamless activation

After you make the purchase, you’ll can redeem your card at any Tourist Information Office open between 8:30am to 7:40pm.

Flying in? Redeem it at the airport metro station to catch the metro to the city. It’s super convenient!

Just swipe your card to avail Barcelona's public transportation. The card gets activated the first time you use it.

Validity: Before activation, your pass is valid for 90 days after purchase. Your pass is activated as soon as you use it for the first time and is valid for the number of 24-hour periods chosen. For example, if you select a 48-hour pass and take any public transport at 3pm on a Monday afternoon, your pass is valid till Wednesday 3pm.

Redemption details

You will receive a QR-code mobile voucher, which must be exchanged for a physical Hola Barcelona Travel Card.

Your card can only be picked up from official Tourist Information Offices.

Airport T1 & T2 desks are open 8:30am–7:30pm. Please ensure your arrival time allows enough time to redeem.

If you arrive after the counters close, simply redeem your voucher at any city Tourist Information Office the next day.

Your travel card activates the first time you use it on Barcelona public transport.

Before first use, the voucher remains valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.

Your Barcelona All Inclusive Card: Museums & Transportation ticket voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

Please display a printed copy of the voucher with a valid photo ID at the Tourist Information Office to get your physical tickets
