Completely different to SeaWorld but massively worthwhile experience. The national aquarium provides a small bit very calming interaction with native species of fish. The entrance is through a lovely open area with sharks and rays that you interact with from a birds eye perspective that really allows you to see these creatures up close. There is a wonderful series of animal encounters of copabara and sea otters. Then ain tunnel through the shark tank is fantastic to view the jammer heads. It is not a huge space like SeaWorld and as such can easily be managed in a couple of hours. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Worth a visit of you have time

Great family experience! We had a wonderful time at the National Aquarium Abu Dhabi. Our kids (9 and 11 years old) absolutely loved it — the exhibits were fascinating, interactive, and beautifully designed. Unlike some attractions on Yas Island, there were no long queues, so we could really take our time and enjoy everything. Highly recommended for families visiting Abu Dhabi! Visit done the Saturday afternoon October 25.

I visited the National Aquarium in Abu Dhabi on 22nd November, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The entire place is beautifully designed, clean, and very well organized. I enjoyed every moment of exploring the different zones and learning about the incredible variety of marine life. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The aquarium displays were vibrant and full of detail, and I especially loved how close you could get to the animals — it felt like stepping into a different world. The atmosphere was relaxing, educational, and perfect for families, couples, or anyone who enjoys nature and marine life. I left feeling inspired and genuinely impressed by how well everything was maintained. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable visit. Visited on a Saturday evening, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. There was no crowd, so we were able to explore the place calmly and enjoy watching every animal without any rush. We captured so many great photos, and my daughter was absolutely delighted to see all the animals up close. Overall, it was a memorable visit. I truly recommend everyone to come here at least once in their lifetime.

It was really wonderful as expected from Abu Dhabi, a lot of different kinds of fish and other creatures. They have some conservative species protecting the marine life. They have a few shows as well to gather more information about shark feeding. The staff was awesome and the shark tunnel is a must to spend some good time. You will love it, especially kids will remember for last.

We had a wonderful time with my little one watching the variety of fishes. The forest themed section is super cool and looks pleasant with different animals and birds. We were able to cover everything in 2.5 hours.
