From Loch Lubnaig’s tranquility to Glenturret’s historic charm

Post-lunch, your journey winds through the breathtaking Scottish landscapes towards the tranquil Loch Lubnaig, a photographer’s delight. The final leg of your whisky escapade concludes at the Glenturret Distillery, Scotland's oldest working distillery, where whisky is traditionally crafted using the country's last operational hand-operated mash tun. Again, as per your choice, immerse yourself in another guided tour and tasting experience here. As you return to Edinburgh, driving past the architectural marvel of the Forth Bridges, you're left with memories of a day steeped in Scotland's whisky traditions, savored against the backdrop of its stunning landscapes.

What to bring

  • Wear warm and/or waterproof clothing, wear comfortable walking shoes, and carry sunblock or a hat for sunny days.

What's not allowed

  • Guests aged 4 and under are restricted from participating in this experience.

  • This tour is not recommended for wheelchair users as some of the locations may cause accessibility issues due to their geography and architecture.

  • A hot lunch is not allowed on the bus but you are welcome to bring a cold packed lunch.

Additional information

  • Guide dogs are allowed on this tour.

  • The distillery entry and tours aren't included in the ticket but can be added on the day. This gives guests the freedom to choose which optional extras they would like to take part in.

  • Between Jan 4th and Jan 20th, and on Mar 18th and Apr 20th Glenturret Distillery will be closed. Instead, this tour will visit Blair Athol Distillery.

  • Your voucher will be emailed to you instantly.

  • Please arrive at the meeting point 15 mins before the scheduled time of your tour to avoid any delays.

  • Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the meeting point. Students must show a valid student ID.
