The red rod is perfect for getting an overview. The green rod was sacred to all of us, as there was a guide sitting on the bus who told the story live.

The Hop.on Hop.off tour is a great way to sightsee, but also to gain kmowledge about various parts of Edinburgh. We went on all 3 routes, and it was lovely. All 3 offered different parts of Edinburgh and the guide who joined us was funny and engaging. He asked about all the passengers, and geared his interactions to us when possible, while remembering where we were visiting from etc. A very enjoyable afternoon, could easily fill a whole day if you chose to Hop on and off, which we didn't, we stayed on all 3 busses, only departing once we were back to starting point.

We had such a wonderful day at Edinburgh Zoo! 🐧🦁 My son absolutely loves animals, so this was one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland. There is so much to see, the grounds are beautiful, and we really enjoyed taking our time exploring together. The staff were friendly and the whole experience was very well organised. Definitely worth visiting, especially with children. A lovely day and some very special memories for us. ❤️

The tasting of course but also the guide was really good and knowledgeable. See the biggest collection of very old bottle of scotch.

Very enjoyable tour - Darren is a fantastic and enthusiastic guide - pitch perfect in his delivery - loads of anecdotes and stories, as well as being very knowledgable and entertaining. Great introduction to a great city!

On a visit from Bristol to my home town Edinburgh, I took my nephew Graeme to visit the Royal Yacht Britanni as neither of us had been on her before. The audio headsets were brilliant at describing the rooms and giving background information on the royal visits to the ship. It was lovely to see around the ship and I could well imagine why our late Queen loved her time spent on board. and how devastated she must have felt to lose her. Well worth visiting and very enjoyable, the time just flew by. I attach a photo of my nephew in the ratings bar !

Easy to book tickets, this is a fantastic attraction to visit with a very informative audio guide. Good transport links and every effort has been made to make it as accessible as possible. Visiting is relaxed with a self paced tour and the tearoom for midway refreshments is not to be missed! Some lovely souvenirs in the gift shop too and every staff member was welcoming and helpful.

Friendly staff. An extremely well-done, detailed audio guide with very interesting videos. Very informative commentary on the royal family. A magnificent palace steeped in history.
