The many parallel tours are extremely tightly scheduled. To put it a bit dramatically: You are 'herded through'. The museum visit afterwards was extreme. Literally in a forced military march, we rushed through all the museum rooms and halls in 20 minutes! We were given 5 minutes for the large St. Barbara Chamber. What a shame, because this unique and magnificent salt mine deserved far more APPRECIATION.

The tour to the Wieliczka Salt Mine was simply wonderful and very well organized! The day before, we received a message via WhatsApp to confirm the tour, which made us feel even more secure and reassured. The information about the meeting point was very clear, and we had no trouble finding the place. Meeting the coordinator was also smooth: we received our tickets and the necessary instructions to proceed to the tour site. The visit to the mine is truly incredible! Despite the approximately 800 steps, they are well-spaced, so it doesn't make the tour overly tiring. It's important to know that there is quite a bit of walking, but it's all worth it because the settings are beautiful and the organization is excellent. Our guide was wonderful, giving very clear and interesting explanations throughout the tour. At the end, the visit to the museum is also highly worth it. We highly recommend this tour! It was an excellent and certainly unforgettable experience.

The Oskar Schindler's Factory museum is designed in a very varied, unique, and informative way. Around every corner, you are surprised with new impressions. As a result, the tour through the museum turns into an emotional rollercoaster through a time of bone-chilling human experiences. Booking a guided tour saves you a lot of waiting time or being denied entry to the museum due to high visitor numbers. In addition, you get extra information that really gets under your skin. The Wieliczka Salt Mine is a truly fascinating and unique place. The impressive underground chambers, salt sculptures, chapels and the history of the miners made the tour an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Samantha, was fantastic—friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable. She made the visit even more enjoyable. The only disappointing aspect was the “skip-the-line” description. We still had to wait in a queue for about 30 minutes, so the wording felt misleading. Despite this, the mine itself and Samantha’s excellent guidance made the tour well worth taking.

We enjoyed the tour, much more to see in the exhibition, but the guided tour was rushed, due to the numbers of people on tours. The guide was very informative. However, this tour is more about Nazi occupation, the history of Krakow and a museum depicting that aspect rather than Oscar Schindler . It is not a factory visual tour as the description states. Shop and books available is good.

The Wieliczka Salt Mine is truly the place to visit if you are staying in the Krakow area. The bilingual French-speaking guide was super funny, but the meeting point lacks a bit of clarity. Still, I highly recommend this attraction, a true symbol of Polish history.

9/11, a rainy day, and we had already explored Krakow very thoroughly. We had only one place left: Schindler's Enamel Factory, which is a must-see and best with a guide. Booking through Headout was the best decision we made; the line of umbrellas was long, and we were able to go inside immediately.

Definitely very interesting, the guide was very good, however the exhibition consists of many photos and a few objects. The factory cannot be visited and the machinery is no longer there. Cramped spaces and groups that are too large. They could do better.

Bring along comfortable walking shoes as the route has around 800 stairs.

What's not allowed

Keep in mind electric torches and cigarettes are not allowed on this experience. Pack wisely!

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Accessibility

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair. Some of the underground paths on the Tourist Route have been modified to accommodate individuals with limited mobility.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

The temperature underground tends to reach 17–18°C. Dress in layers for adaptable comfort.

In exceptional cases, some of the chambers of the Tourist Route might be excluded from the guided tour.
