Husavik: Whale Watching Tour with a Guide

What to bring

• Wear warm, layered clothing, as sea temperatures can be chilly and change quickly.

• Pack essentials like a hat, gloves, and a scarf to stay comfortable.

• Sunglasses and sunscreen are useful for protection on brighter days.

• Bring a camera or binoculars if you’d like to photograph or spot wildlife from afar.

• Have a valid photo ID ready in case it’s required during check-in.

What’s not allowed

• Bulky items such as large backpacks, suitcases, or oversized luggage are not allowed on board.

• Animals are not permitted, except for certified service animals.

• Consumption of alcohol or drugs, or joining the tour while intoxicated, is not allowed.

• Smoking is prohibited on the boat.

Accessibility

• This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Additional information

• Thermal overalls and waterproof jackets may be available, but make sure to dressing for cold and wet conditions.

• Open to all ages; children under 7 can join for free when accompanied by an adult.

• Hot chocolate and cinnamon biscuits are included during the tour.

• Departures are from Húsavík, Iceland. Please reach the meeting point at least 15 minutes early.

• While whale sightings are very common, they cannot be guaranteed as wildlife encounters depend on natural conditions.
