The site of Acropolis stands on top of a rocky hill in Athens, the capital city of Greece. As soon as you step onto the site, seeing the remains of this ancient citadel from the 5th century BC, you will be transported to the past. Follow your guide and begin the tour from the Acropolis, built in honor of the Greek goddess – Athena. Here, marvel at the Theatre of Dionysus, considered the world's first theatre, followed by the temple of Asclepius, built in honor of the gods Asclepius and Hygieia. As you continue walking along the southern slope, you will come across The Stoa of Eumenes, an arcaded passageway connecting the theatre with the odeon leading you into the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. The architectural magnificence of this stone-built Roman theatre with its glorious view will leave you breathless.
