The palace itself was very nice to walk through, and we enjoyed the audio guide, although thought there could have been more detail on revolutionary events or eg the treaty of Versailles. The gardens were lovely, the AI interaction with statues was particularly entertaining, recommend. I also encourage everyone to check out the nearby Tennis Court! The exit system was a bit confusing - we left the palace for the gardens with the aim of returning, but realised we had left the complex entirely and needed to queue up again - luckily the security guards let us in

I was 4th thru security so I thot I was ahead of the crowd. It wasnt a race tho... I liked everything until the exhibition about the post-Napoleonic Republics, the presidents, etc. I tried to photograph everything of interest - but the sunlight glare on the many paintings made it impossible to get good photos, unfortunately. As a history teacher who teaches about the Enlightenment, the Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars (and the importance of the Revolution still today) and the Treaty of Versailles, it was a lifelong dream to see Versailles.

It's nice but I wished if they give us at least water it was a long trip and at the end I forgot where to wait and I couldn't remember our crew I kept waiting and searching everywhere I just remember the woman who took us at the beginning but she didn't come to pick us but thank god I stayed with a random group and when the bus came I asked them if they are the same group and the guide looked to my ticket and approved 😰

The Palace of Versailles is one of those places that truly makes you pause and simply admire. Everything about it feels grand, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. From the moment you step onto the palace grounds, you realize you are standing in a place where history was not just written, but lived. The rooms inside the palace are richly decorated and full of character. Each space reveals something new — intricate ceilings, golden details, and beautifully preserved furniture that reflects the lifestyle of the French monarchy. Walking through the palace feels less like a museum visit and more like a glimpse into another time. What truly sets Versailles apart are its gardens. Vast, perfectly structured, and incredibly peaceful, they offer a completely different experience from the interior. Taking time to walk through the gardens, sit near the fountains, or simply enjoy the scenery is just as memorable as exploring the palace itself. The entire visit is well organized, and despite the number of visitors, everything runs smoothly. My recommendation is to allow plenty of time, wear comfortable shoes, and explore at your own pace. Versailles is not meant to be rushed — it is meant to be enjoyed slowly. Versailles is more than a landmark; it is an experience that combines beauty, history, and atmosphere in a way few places can. A truly unforgettable destination and an essential visit for anyone traveling to France.
