The ticket is for "all people". Not priority which is not clearly marked or obvious in a crowded rainy bus station. It's not clear especially for first time guests that you have to go to an "all people" entrance.

Easy to confirm the code but since we need to go to a machine to validate the ticket there really isn't any point to the pre-purchase. You can just purchase a ticket at the machine.William

Yup, very good experience! The vaporetto drivers have been excellent, what a way to travel around Venice!
