A few days in advance, I paid online for a vaporetto ticket for August 17, 2026, for the round-trip route from the Tronchetto parking lots to St. Mark’s Square, using the website’s user-friendly interface. I then converted the codes I’d purchased online into tickets by printing them at the kiosks near the boarding areas, and finally scanned the tickets at the turnstiles to board the boats. It was all very straightforward. The boat was on time, and the ride was pleasant.

I bought a 24 hour unlimited pass which was great. I got to see beautiful islands of Murano & Burano, as well as getting to whizz through the stunning Venice landmarks along the water. Would have been improved if I was supplied with a map of the different stops etc, but all in all a great experience and will use again!!

There should be an ACTV employee at the boarding locations to organize and guide passengers, especially regarding the capacity of the vaporettos. The employees would simply close the doors on passengers’ legs when the vehicle reached capacity.

Venice and the vaporetto—it was love at first trip! We rode along the Grand Canal, admired the palaces from the water, and the trip to the Lido was a special delight. Just 15-20 minutes from San Marco, and you're on a beautiful beach on the Adriatic. Returning in the evening at sunset is simply magical! Convenient, romantic, and very atmospheric. The 24-hour pass was a real lifesaver and saved me money. Despite the crowds during peak season, this is the best way to truly see Venice. Highly recommended! ❤️

All I can say is: GOOD AND AFFORDABLE. Everything went smoothly, from buying the ticket online to traveling by bus and vaporetto. The service is excellent. The vaporettos and buses run on time. I spent the day with my son, traveling from Punta Sabbioni to various islands. The water buses were always on time, and the staff both on land and on the boat were very helpful—plus, we saved a lot of money. I recommend this service.
