For our 4-day trip to Venice, we had two 7-day water bus passes, and they got us quickly and easily to all the places worth seeing. For us, it was the best way to explore everything and see as much as possible. The price for the two tickets was great, and for us, it was also the most affordable way to see a lot and enjoy our time in Venice. We’d do it this way again in a heartbeat.

It was easy to redeem the ticket at the machine using the PIN provided during the online booking process. The instructions were also displayed in German. The ticket machines are located at the Venice train station, right by the water at the ferry terminal. There was no wait either; it was relatively empty in late August.

Last week

I spent the day with my son, traveling from Punta Sabbioni to various islands. The water buses were always on time, and the staff both on land and on the boat were very helpful—plus, we saved a lot of money. I recommend this service. You can easily print out your booked vaporetto ticket at the ticket machines. Just be careful—it’s sometimes unclear whether the PNR code lists an "O" or "zero." Other than that, I highly recommend this ticket.

It's impossible to get around Venice without the pass, but I wish it were available on a per-day basis so that I could tailor the pass to the actual days I need it, at a price of 10 euros per day, which seems very reasonable to me.

I bought a 24 hour unlimited pass which was great. I got to see beautiful islands of Murano & Burano, as well as getting to whizz through the stunning Venice landmarks along the water. Would have been improved if I was supplied with a map of the different stops etc, but all in all a great experience and will use again!!

It was really nice to use this pass for any of the public transportation. I used the buses to move about the city and get to Venice and the water shuttles to go between Venice - Murano - Burano and back to Venice. Buying a separate ticket every time would get pricey and also frustrating depending on when the transportation was leaving and how many people. Only once did I get onto a boat and have to make a few additional stops because the previous boat was already full. I would definitely pre-pay to get a ticket again to visit Venice and the surrounding islands.
