For our 4-day trip to Venice, we had two 7-day water bus passes, and they got us quickly and easily to all the places worth seeing. For us, it was the best way to explore everything and see as much as possible. The price for the two tickets was great, and for us, it was also the most affordable way to see a lot and enjoy our time in Venice. We’d do it this way again in a heartbeat.

The vaporetti were very reliable and fast. We bought three-day tickets and used them extensively. At certain times of day, they were very crowded. Overall, they were well-organized and convenient for anyone wanting to explore Venice.

You can easily print out your booked vaporetto ticket at the ticket machines. Just be careful—it’s sometimes unclear whether the PNR code lists an "O" or "zero." Other than that, I highly recommend this ticket.

It's impossible to get around Venice without the pass, but I wish it were available on a per-day basis so that I could tailor the pass to the actual days I need it, at a price of 10 euros per day, which seems very reasonable to me.

I loved how easy I booked it. We had to put the code in the pdf sent in the machine to receive the actual ticket. It is easy to use.

It’s easy to buy and use, but it’s not so easy to figure out that the voucher needs to be exchanged for a card at the station: we did it following the hotel’s instructions (after going back!). A sign with the instructions WRITTEN IN LARGE PRINT would be helpful. The 4-day pass is missing. Not all vaporetti display the line number and route. On the vaporetti, just like on the subway, trams, and buses, it would be helpful to have a sign showing the route being traveled.

The pass is valid for 1, 2, 3, or 7 consecutive days from the first validation.
