Why You Shouldn’t Miss This

Ruled by the Pope, Vatican City is the smallest country in the world. Its most famous cultural and religious sites are the incredibly stunning Sistine Chapel, and the Vatican Museums, a collection of some of the greatest works of art in the world.

The Sistine Chapel is renowned for its ceiling, which was painted by the erstwhile Italian artist, Michelangelo. The iconic fresco, The Creation of Adam forms the centrepiece of the ceiling.

Your tour will begin with a spread of authentic Italian cuisine inside the Vatican Museums. Since you will be given an early entry, no other tour groups will be around for the next 1.5 hours; you can enjoy your food and tour of this striking museum in peace. The last gallery of the museum is the astounding Sistine Chapel, renowned for its ceiling. After seeing countless imitations of this legendary painting, witnessing the masterpiece in person is an ethereal experience. The incredible detail and array of colors used on the Sistine Chapel ceiling are extraordinary, and its iconic status is thoroughly warranted.
