This is a must-see in Rome. The Vatican & Sistine Chapel is stunning, filled w Michelangelo & Rafael's captivating paintings. Our tour guide was very knowledgable, unfortunately I forgot her name. A tour is highly recommended so you can really understand the art, the history of the Vatican & the reasoning behind certain choices made by the Pope & the artists. It gave me even more of an appreciation for the time & effort put into this beautiful site. The gardens are also worth visiting.

We had Julio as a tour guide and he was awesome. It's very crowded (obviously) inside the museums but it's one of those experiences you need to do at least once in my opinion. Very easy to pick up our tickets for the tour, we only reserved two days before while other companies were all sold out and the group number wasn't too much. We'd highly recommend doing this one, but also try to book ahead of time so you're not scrambling like we were.

The tour guide was great. He knew so much, was funny, and ensured we were seeing the important sights at moments when it was less crowded. With only 2 hours there is no way to see everything in the museum, it is overwhelming how much stuff they have collected, that would take 2 days. Overall, there is no way to go thru the Vatican museum without a guide. Too much to see and too much to miss.

Good communication. Meeting spot was easy to find and company rep was on time. Guide was very knowledgeable with good sense of humor. Patient as well as we had some non-listeners in our group. Heavy traffic day , but not terrible, prior visit was much more crowded. Googled whether we needed our passport and found mixed results, but we were never asked to provide them at any point.

Unfortunately, I can't remember our Guide's name but she was wonderful. She was very patient but still had us moving along nicely. She was VERY knowledgeable and had some great stories. My husband and I learned a lot. All together we had a great time except for the crowd which we had no control of obviously. 5 stars

I visited the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel for a 2-hour guided tour. We had a good guide who was good at telling us what we saw. It was exciting and I could have easily spent more time in the museum. But be careful where there were many people. There are so many that you can't see anything at all and you are rushed through quickly, so you don't really have time to see anything. I had been looking forward to seeing the beautiful staircase in the Vatican Museum, but we didn't get to see it at all. In our ticket we had bought fast access to St. Peter's Basilica but without a guide, our guide also gave a tour of the church. So in total we got a guided tour of 3 hours instead of 2, but without any breaks along the way.

The tour was pretty good. Both the organization and the guide were very clear and friendly; we had Carolina, who was lovely. The only thing I didn’t like was that the tour inside the Vatican felt a bit short and rushed. Outside in the courtyards, we were given a thorough talk about the history of the Vatican and especially the Sistine Chapel, but then inside, with everything there is to see, it seemed to me that we were moving a bit too fast and just skimming the surface. I understand that there’s a lot to see in the end, but if it were up to me, I would have spent more time on the interior part. Even so, I’d do it again, because it’s pretty good—the company itself is great—and above all, you avoid HUGE lines.
