CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5We were welcomed into the office to check in and meet our tour group. Everything was very organized. Our tour group leader was Agnese and she was fantastic. We were a party of 2 but our total group was 7, 2 were young boys, and she did a great job with all the different ages. Agnese had tons of knowledge and gave us a good explanation of what were we're going to see before we got to that section. She was very conscience of the heat and made sure to keep us in the shade as much as possible and we moved at a perfect pace. In addition to the great education, skipping all the lines and using the back stairs, was worth the price of the tour itself!!EElizabeth E
FamilyVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5We could never have navigated these busy sites without our expert guide - it was unbelievably busy and hot in high summer but the tour guide did a fantastic job of making it enjoyable and informative. I am a history buff and the guide managed to make some interesting points i hadn't considered about the exhibits whilst keeping us all together and navigating everything. Would definitely book this tour guide and this company again for other things. We're very glad we booked this tour.KKosa M
GroupVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5The process of getting in to the Vatican once we picked up our ticket, was very easy. Our guide - and I apologize for not recalling the name, was very knowledgeable, shared fun details as well as little known facts and made the whole experience very memorable. Yes, the crowds were there, however a good guide - which we had, knows how to navigate them and still allow us to have a thorough look at the highlights. This was the highlight of our trip!MMichael L
FamilyVerified bookingJun 20265/5The meet up location was easy to find. With that said we arrived late but a member of the group was able to help us. They called the tour guide and walk us to them. Great service and smooth process. We truly appreciated the tour and enjoyed our visit. Thank youVVictoria B
GroupVerified bookingJun 20264/5Fabulous place to visit & definitely worth getting fast track tickets. We were met by a rep from Vivicos travel who was a delight. She was friendly, chatty and so welcoming. She walked us to the entrance of the vatican from their offices and took us right through the checkpoints to the desk inside where we met out guide (can't remember her name, but i know she was from the Philippines, so good at her job). I only wish our guide was as pleasant! She was quite moody & was obviously having a bad day as one of her colleagues hadnt turned up to work. She walked off quickly to.start the tour but i realised nobody could hear her anymore. When I told her she just snapped back & said 'I already asked if you could all hear me'. She didnt actually have her microphone attached so it was totally her fault, but no apology. One lady mentioned she still had problems with her earpiece but was met with a response of 'its not my fault'. That lady eventually left the group. I felt the tour was quite rushed in places, her accent was very strong and she spoke very fast. I spend £400 for an English speaking tour for 4 adults, wish I hadnt bothered with the guide and just made our own way around. That said, it is an amazing place to visit. So glad I booked fast track tickets separately for the basilica without a guide as we took our time and thoroughly enjoyed it as it is absolutely breathtaking. The walk to the domb isn't for the faint hearted, especially with temps in the high 30s, but SO worth it for the views. Great place to visit, but I'd definitely ditch the guided tour and take your time.
