Valentine's Day in Florence

We recently participated in a guided tour of the Uffizi and Accademia Galleries. Our tour guide, Alex had a wealth of knowledge to share and she really brought the paintings alive for my two children. I will be recommending this tour to all my friends. While the crowd seemed chaotic when we walked down the street to meet our guide, it was extremely well organized and well run. We had a nice small group with an excellent guide. The tour was nicely done. Not too long, not too short. We could stay as long as we wanted after which was nice. All in all I'm glad we booked this!

Another great tour. Our guide was amazing unfortunately had forgotten her name but she was originally from Sicily and studied ancient history. A very small intimate group that consisted of my boyfriend and I and, a mother and daughter we had met on an earlier tour to the Academia that same day. I personally liked the very small group, as it allowed for a quick start and swift entry into the museum. Our guide was very knowledgable and there was plenty of time and room for questions that were well answered. Paintings discussed in detail as well as historical context to the time period and the artist behind them. A well timed tour that left us feeling like we had covered the important parts, and were free to do as we pleased and revisit areas we wanted to see again, at the end of the tour. Highly recommended.

Our guide Martha was wonderful! She brought the pictures to life, and drew the arc to the next era in such a way that everyone could understand the progress! I could have listened to her for hours! What a great experience!

Well organised and so easy to meet up with our guide who the cut the queue and got us into the gallery very quickly. Our guide was very knowledgeable art historian with a passion for the subject that was very engaging. We were shown all the key paintings in 2.5 hours and learned so much . We would have been lost wandering around for hours if we did it ourselves and we would not have seen 1/2 the key works.

Our market tour was a delightful journey through the Florence Central market. The hands-on experience of crafting the tiramisu and hand-making our pastas, we were fully immersed in the art of cooking. We sincerely appreciated the interactive nature of the class, which allowed us to ask questions and learn new skills. The highlight, of course, was savoring the fruits of our labor as we sat down to enjoy the delicious meal we had prepared together. The flavors, aromas, and the shared camaraderie made the dining experience truly special and unforgettable. Overall, our Florence market tour and cooking class surpassed all expectations. It was a perfect blend of cultural exploration, culinary education, and immersive enjoyment. I would highly recommend your tour to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable culinary experience in Florence.
