Did you know?

Vajdahunyad Castle was originally built in 1896 for Hungary’s Millennium Exhibition and later reconstructed in stone by 1908.

The castle’s design is a patchwork of famous Hungarian architectural landmarks, making it a living showcase of the nation’s heritage.

The museum’s star exhibit is the complete skeleton of Kincsem, the world’s most successful racehorse, undefeated in 54 races.

A tiny Dracula head is carved into the castle’s western wall—a playful tribute to actor Béla Lugosi, who famously played Dracula.

The castle’s rose window, crafted by renowned artist Miksa Róth, is considered a masterpiece of Hungarian stained glass art.

We had a really great experience! Everything was wonderful, and we really enjoyed our time. The experience was definitely worth it, and we would happily recommend it to other travelers. Everything went smoothly, and we left with lovely memories. Thank you for such a great experience! Only downside is open desk didn't had any overhang, right before our cruise started we got caught in the rain and couldn't enjoy open desk properly, unfortunately. But everything else was perfect, thank you!

A wonderful experience with a night view of the city with all the lights on. In particular, the evocative view of the parliament building with its striking lighting, and all the illuminated bridges as well. The view of the city all lit up is truly worth it.

Surprisingly enjoyable visit. I only wanted to see the Castle up close and thought the museum would only be an after thought, but lo and behold the interior of the castle is magnificent. I found hallways and staircases that looked straight out of a fairy tale book. I feel like gate keeping the place but it is too awesome not too❤️❤️❤️🏰🇭🇺
