About the rides

Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge puts you right in the game. Strap on an AR headset and race through the Mushroom Kingdom for 5 minutes of shell-throwing mayhem. Each ride is different, so you'll want to go again and again.

The Real 4-D throws you into an anime battle. The 3D visuals and effects (water, shaking seats) make you feel like a real superhero. It's an original story, so even hardcore fans get something new.

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey™ is pure magic. For 5 minutes, you'll soar through Hogwarts™, dodging dragons and Dementors. The tech is so good, you'll forget you're not really flying.

Hollywood Dream - The Ride lets you pick your own soundtrack for a 3-minute thrill ride. Twist, turn, and get amazing views of the park.

What's not allowed

It is not allowed to photograph or record videos within the premises.

Accessibility

It will be required for wheelchair users to switch to the seats in the attraction.

It is required to get in touch with a crew member for guests with a wig, prosthetic limb, plaster cast, or a medical assistant tool.

Choose safety and comfort: This experience is not the best fit for people with abnormal blood pressure, cardiac issues, back, neck, hip, or spinal disorders, motion sickness, vertigo, claustrophobia, acrophobia, and pregnant women.

This experience is not suitable for people who have medical conditions that could be aggravated by loud sounds, fog, pitch-black darkness, strobes, and strong smells.

To use the "Area Timed Entry Ticket" at Universal Studios Japan, you must reserve a specific time slot either before your visit or on the day you arrive.

You can make this reservation through the Universal Studios Japan official app or directly at a kiosk located within the park.

Guests cannot select their preferred entry time for each ride.

Guests can only enter specific rides during the time shown on their Express Pass.

Entry times to the Super Nintendo World™ and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter are randomly assigned by Universal Studios Japan. Be present during the assigned time to ensure entry.

Attractions may be closed on certain days for maintenance.

Operation of attractions is subject to change without prior notice or liability.

Each Express Pass for closed attractions allows you to experience one of the designated attractions and reach out to on-site staff.
