Begin in the grand foyer, where small tables and a marble fountain create a calm setting. Enjoy a fragrant cup of tea while an attendant explains the next steps. You’ll receive shoe covers, rubber slippers, and a Turkish towel (pestemal) before heading to the changing room and storing your belongings in a locker.

What to expect

Follow a traditional hammam sequence that moves from preparation and heat to cleansing rituals. Relax through the pre-soak and sauna before experiencing the kese-style scrub and full-body soaping.

Features:

• Pre-soak and sauna: Start with a pre-soak beside a marble sink, alternating between hot and cold water. Once prepared, enter the sauna and spend time in the heat before moving into the main hammam room.

• Heated marble platform: Continue to the main room and lie on the large heated marble table known as the göbektaşı. Spend around 15 minutes relaxing on the marble platform before the attendant begins the cleansing ritual.

• Traditional scrubbing: After the warm-up, move to the marble sinks surrounding the göbektaşı for the scrubbing ritual. An attendant uses special exfoliating gloves to remove dead skin and dirt from your body.

• Full-body soaping: Complete the cleansing ritual with a full-body soaping treatment. You are washed by hand from head to toe with soap, bringing the traditional hammam ritual to its final cleansing stage.
