This pass is only valid for non-Japanese passport holders with a “Temporary Visitor” visa stamp on their passport. Those non-Japanese passport holders with permanent residence in Japan are not eligible.

All passengers must have their travel documents (passports, ID cards, valid visas) ready, prior to boarding.

Physical ticket can be procured at major JR-WEST Ticket Office and green ticket-vending machines with your online ticket & non-Japanese passport along with Temporary Visitor Stamp.

Exchanging Reserved Seat Tickets
- Before getting on the train, please go to the green ticket-vending machines and pick up physical reserved seat tickets by the area pass.
