Email sent about meeting point was inaccurate, the photo and arrow pointing at the meeting point is the wrong side of the bridge. nearly missed boat due to this. We were then told after giving the tickets to run as the boat will leave without you. staff were unsupportive and blaming the customer.

First the yellow box location told us they did not have us on the tour. Once it was determined that we were part of the tour, we were told it did not include Torcello when it was on our ticket. We bought the tour for the whole experience of all three islands and it was on our ticket so this was misleading. The next thing that was frustrating was that the guide was difficult to understand on the intercom system and lacked inflection in her voice to engage the audience. She quickly became background noise for the whole ferry/boat.

The general organisation was good. Finding the meeting point, getting travel vouchers etc was also good. However the trip was not as advertised... " a small group of up to 20"... in reality was 120+ as I counted. " a private small boat"... in reality a large boat crammed with tourists. " an English speaking personal guide"...in reality a guide who spoke mainly Italian with a few sentences of English here and there. " a visit to Murano"... in reality a visit to a factory and small glass blowing demo in order to purchase glass from the shop. No time on the island really. We did enjoy the Burano visit, the time spent on the island and arrived back at the correct time.We purchased some small pieces of glass which are lovely. But...it was very crowded and I felt like I was herded like cattle instead of having a more intimate experience in a small group.
