Buying the two day ticket was a good idea. I needed to get to the stadium and back for a football game so the ticket was good value for money as it would have been €10 each way.The next day I used five or six water boats to get around Venice and to the islands. The process of buying from Headout was straightforward and the communication excellent. You simply type in the code at the ticket machine and your ticket is printed out. I would use this method again when in Venice.

Easy to collect the pass right at the airport: there are 2 kiosks inside the airport plus a staffed help desk. At the kiosks, you just have to type in your booking number. With the pass, we were able to take Bus 5 from the airport all the way to central Venice 😀 Bus 5 is included. And we could take all the island's vaporettos as many times as we wanted, even to go to Murano and Burano 😀 Really convenient.

The ride on the vaporetto to Murano and Burano was nice and smooth. The person at the ticket machine was helpful and we were directed to the correct line to take. Unfortunately the line was very long as a lot of people were going there as well. The people on the vaporetto were pleasant and some gave up their seats for us seeing that we were older. We had a wonderful time.

We purchased the 3 day pass and what a great service. We just hopped on and off the vaperetto with ease and didn't have to think about the cost. We used the service a lot especially our free day to get to Murano, Burano and around the main part of Venice. Worth investing in if you do not want to fight the crowds and not worry about costs.

It was pleasant, we had plenty of time to sightsee and do some shopping, but the only thing that happened to me at the last stop: sitting on a bench waiting for the boat to arrive, I got up to drink from the fountain and forgot all my purchases on the bench. Who's the lucky one who got to keep them!!!!

Great service. I bought day tickets online, and as soon as we arrived in Venice, we went straight to the ticket machine, which dispensed our tickets after we entered the code received by email. We only used them to get around by vaporetto, and it was super convenient! Lots of vaporettos and clear directions. The only issue we ran into was the vaporetto from Rialto to the station, because it filled up entirely with locals while tourists were left waiting there. So maybe add a few more vaporettos on Saturdays and Sundays.

The office indicated on the station square in Venice was of little help. The clerk said they used to be able to issue the tickets, but this was no longer possible due to a recent change. Fortunately, I found some kind tourists who helped me at the machine. Still, it would have been easier to just buy the 7-day vaporetto pass directly at the ticket counter without purchasing it in advance.
