Why You Shouldn't Miss This
If you’re in Barcelona, then visiting the Sagrada Familia should be on top of your list. An icon of this Catalan city and a monumental example of Art Nouveau and Catalan Noucentisme architecture, the Sagrada Familia stands tall in the heart of Barcelona. Designed by Antoni Gaudi, the basilica is a UNESCO World Heritage Site despite having only 70% of it completed and it is easy to see why. Gaudi’s design for the Sagrada Familia draws so heavily from nature and mathematical rules that decades after his death, only computers have been able to accurately reproduce his vision at a pace Gaudi had envisioned.
The Sagrada Familia, once completed, will be the tallest church in the world. The outer walls of the church are heavily ornate and adorned by intricate sculptures while the interiors are magical in their own right. The stained glass windows of varying hues paint the insides of the church with a fairytale like glow, like a palace straight out of Tolkien’s Lothlórien. The vaults inside the church are as high as 70 metres and together with the stained glass windows, paint a picture that is as beautiful as it is outlandish.
These Sagrada Familia fast track tickets will not only provide you priority access to this iconic basilica but also allow you to scale its monumental spires. Once you book the tickets online, you will receive them via email which you can then display on your phone to gain priority access to the Sagrada Familia.
At the Sagrada Familia, you will come face to face with one of the most ambitious and eccentric architectural projects of the past century. Antoni Gaudi’s design will surely leave you mesmerized. As you walk around the Sagrada Familia, you will be able to see the beautiful sculptures that adorn the Nativity and Passion Facades. These facades also have the eight spires that are currently completed.
With the tower ticket, you will be able to scale one of the two towers. Since the Nativity and the Passion Facades are not joined, the access points to these spires are different. The top of these towers can only be accessed via a lift, one for each facade. You can choose to go up the spire on the Nativity Facade and get views over the east of Barcelona, or the tower of the Passion Facade that faces the city centre. Visitors must take the stairs down from the towers, both on the Passion Facade and the Nativity Facade. Children younger than 6 cannot go up the towers and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Priority Access to Sagrada Familia
- Audioguide (only for 11+)
- Access to one of the two towers - Nativity or Passion Facade
- Audioguides for children below the age of 11

I was quite shocked that the skip the line tickets actually worked out to be beneficial this time. Sped past a humongous line
To think that this Catalan monument has been under construction since the 1880s is eerily wonderful. Great job, Audi
