Ready for a journey through the mind of a true genius? I'm about to explore the incredible works of an architect who revolutionized the way we see things! Imagine walking among buildings that look like they came out of a dream, full of curves, colors, and shapes that nature itself could have created. This isn't just architecture, it's an experience that transports you to another world. I am experiencing a true immersion in nature, seen through the eyes of an incredible artist. Every detail is designed to amaze and make you think. It's like walking in an enchanted park, but made of stone and vibrant colors.

Booking was easy and entry into the park using our tickets was swift. We entered via the Ctra del Carmel entrance because much of the walk around the park then is downhill rather than up. The park was clean and very well maintained and we had a lovely day. The only reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is because there were no refreshments on site such as a coffee/tea shop. Which we were aware of, but it would have been nice to have strolled around with a coffee. There was a vending machine for water however but many of our party were elderly and it would have lovely to have taken the day slowly with refreshments.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE Parc Güell_ I recommend booking in the morning so you can enjoy the experience with fewer people and guided groups. Casa Batlló_ Scheduled times are respected, staff are a little annoyed and not very cheerful, but the architecture is fantastic. I recommend buying the silver or gold ticket to see the upper terraces as well. I recommend booking the first visit in the morning or at lunchtime. I would have preferred there to be staff to stop the girls from taking half-hour photos at every landmark.

Park Güell is one of Barcelona's most famous landmarks and one of architect Antoni Gaudí's most important works. The park was built between 1900 and 1914 and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. What makes Park Güell special is its unique artistic style. Gaudí used many forms inspired by nature, with curved paths, sloping columns, and many colorful mosaic decorations called "trencadís." One of the park's best-known symbols is the mosaic salamander fountain, which many people photograph. From the park's large terrace, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Barcelona, which makes the visit even more beautiful. In addition, the park has gardens, paths, and quiet spaces where you can stroll and relax. In my opinion, Park Güell is a very interesting and original place because it combines art, architecture, and nature. It is a perfect place to discover Gaudí's style and enjoy one of the best views of the city.

It is a beautiful park rich in varied vegetation. The path is laid out on various levels, and the small buildings and various statues are very pretty. I did not visit the Gaudi house museum (inside the park) because you had to pay an additional ticket to enter. From the top, there is also a beautiful view of the city.

A marvel to experience...the beauty of the park and the organization in managing such a large number of visitors made our experience unique. Enchanted by everything that the great Gaudi gave to Spain and to all those who are lucky enough to see his works.

The visit to Parc Guell was truly exciting: the park is very naturalistic and there are many spots from which to admire a breathtaking view of Barcelona. The monumental area is beautiful with its columns and mosaics.
  • Getting Started

Arrive at the recommended entrance on Avinguda del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya, where escalator access is available. Present your ticket at the main gate for validation and proceed through a brief security check before entering the park.

  • What to bring

    • Wear comfortable walking shoes as this experience involves a fair amount of walking on uneven paths and multiple stairways.

    • During the summer months, it is recommended to bring hats/caps to protect from the sun, and water for hydration due to high temperatures.

    Accessibility

    • For visitors with mobility problems, Park Güell offers two free wheelchairs for hire (subject to availability).

    • The tourist coach car park has three places for people with reduced mobility.

    Additional information

    • During peak season, April to August, expect a considerable wait time at entry.

    • Note: Park Güell has three entrances—choose what suits you! Av. del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya has escalators (though it’s steep), Carretera del Carmel (nº 23) is ideal for coach drop-off, and Carrer d’Olot brings you right into the Monumental Zone.

    • If you'd like to skip a lot of climbing and stairs, a great option is to take public transport like Bus #24 or grab a taxi. This will get you to the entrance at Carretera del Carmel, which is just a short 100 meters from the bus stop. You'll find the area with the monuments only another 100 meters in, and mostly flat 200-meter stroll!

    • Children under 6 can enter for free, they just need free tickets. For a seamless entry, book their free tickets during checkout.

    • Guests are allowed to bring outside food and water into the venue. However, they must consume it in the designated picnic areas only.

    • The audio guide is available on the Headout app. Instructions to download will be shared with your ticket, and you can also access them offline. Do bring your own headphones.

    • Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

    • Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the redemption point.

    • Please arrive at the redemption point 15 minutes before the scheduled time of your visit to avoid any delays.

    Ticket redemption point
