The moasics, the views, t trails, and the incredibly friendly staff that gave us the opportunity to explore the park with incredibly well-maintained facilities. This was my first look into the cultural experience in Spain and it did not disappoint. Will recommend to everyone and anyone looking to come.

Everything was perfect at Park Güell, except that it wasn't clear that a second ticket was required to visit the house inside. At Casa Batlló, crowd control and queue management weren't very efficient. At 5:30 p.m., the time on our ticket, people who were supposed to enter at 5:00 p.m. were still waiting in line.

Marc was a really good guide. He told us a lot about the history of this place. I would definetely join another tour with him. He is also very polite and alway asked, if we had any questions.

Everything went very smoothly, from the reservation to check-in, which we were even able to do before the scheduled time... no complaints! The park is beautiful and definitely worth the trip.

The park was nice. The main throughway was closed at one point forcing us to go "off-road". It didn't knock our socks off, but if you have the time while in Barcelona, it is worth the time.

Park Güell is one of Barcelona's most famous landmarks and one of architect Antoni Gaudí's most important works. The park was built between 1900 and 1914 and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. What makes Park Güell special is its unique artistic style. Gaudí used many forms inspired by nature, with curved paths, sloping columns, and many colorful mosaic decorations called "trencadís." One of the park's best-known symbols is the mosaic salamander fountain, which many people photograph. From the park's large terrace, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Barcelona, which makes the visit even more beautiful. In addition, the park has gardens, paths, and quiet spaces where you can stroll and relax. In my opinion, Park Güell is a very interesting and original place because it combines art, architecture, and nature. It is a perfect place to discover Gaudí's style and enjoy one of the best views of the city.

The park is beautiful. The audio guide is informative, but the individual points of interest were poorly marked and hard to locate. If they used numbers here, like at other attractions, it would be much easier.

    What to Expect

    Park Güell

  • What to bring

    • Wear comfortable walking shoes as this experience involves a fair amount of walking on uneven paths and multiple stairways.

    • During the summer months, it is recommended to bring hats/caps to protect from the sun, and water for hydration due to high temperatures.

    Accessibility

    • For visitors with mobility problems, Park Güell offers two free wheelchairs for hire (subject to availability).

    • The tourist coach car park has three places for people with reduced mobility.

    Additional information

    • During peak season, April to August, expect a considerable wait time at entry.

    • Note: Park Güell has three entrances—choose what suits you! Av. del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya has escalators (though it’s steep), Carretera del Carmel (nº 23) is ideal for coach drop-off, and Carrer d’Olot brings you right into the Monumental Zone.

    • If you'd like to skip a lot of climbing and stairs, a great option is to take public transport like Bus #24 or grab a taxi. This will get you to the entrance at Carretera del Carmel, which is just a short 100 meters from the bus stop. You'll find the area with the monuments only another 100 meters in, and mostly flat 200-meter stroll!

    • Children under 6 can enter for free, they just need free tickets. For a seamless entry, book their free tickets during checkout.

    • Guests are allowed to bring outside food and water into the venue. However, they must consume it in the designated picnic areas only.

    • The audio guide is available on the Headout app. Instructions to download will be shared with your ticket, and you can also access them offline. Do bring your own headphones.

    • Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

    • Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the redemption point.

    • Please arrive at the redemption point 15 minutes before the scheduled time of your visit to avoid any delays.

    Ticket redemption point

    • Please check your final voucher for the redemption point details and specific instructions.
