The aquarium was a very nice experience for my 9- and 4-year-olds. There are different species of fish and activities to do--I highly recommend it. Fortunately, the tickets were taken online so we avoided the endless line by coming straight to the turnstile to enter.Wayne

Headout booking was simple and easy. Instant tickets and no quing, which in a red hot day was perfect. The aquarium is fantastic. So much to see and do and the kids had an amazing experience. Super friendly staff and easy to folllow routes. Fully recommended.

The aquarium was well laid out and had fancy aspects but it seemed to all be fir the visitors while the animal enclosures looked unfair for the small amount of basic animals that they held there. The animals didn't look happy and the variety was limited.

Skip the long lines and step into the world of marine life at The Barcelona Aquarium. The aquarium is perhaps the best place for families with kids to learn about marine biodiversity and the importance of marine conservation, two themes that run close to everything the Aquarium does in terms of its activities and it's set up. The facility is divided into 35 aquariums and enclosures that house approximately 11,000 animals across 450 species. As such, there is no doubt plenty to see and admire here, but there are some things that you just can't miss!
The three main zones include Planeta Aqua, the Oceanarium, and Explora! Children's Area, each more unique than the other. Needless to say, if you have little ones tagging along with you, make sure they check out the Explora! zone to help spark up an interest in oceanology!

- Operating hours are 10 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Friday, and 10 AM to 8 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Ticket offices and access close one hour before facility closure.
