This was a perfect way to spend a half day in NYC with a five year old. It's easy to navigate seeing everything by just going in a circle. The indoor aviary had beautiful birds and served as a respite from the cold. I wondered if the chilly December day meant the animals were more active, as opposed to being sluggish on a hot day (??) ...since the animals are snow monkeys, a snow leopard, and grizzly bears. It was a great way to spend a cold day outdoors!

It's a very welcoming experience. The place is very clean and the animals look healthy. I liked the entrance, seeing the very cute seals, and the penguins too, but my favorite part was the tropical area where the birds are. It's a warm place full of tropical species and plants. The birds fly over you, you're right next to them. All the species there are very beautiful. I really enjoyed my visit to the Central Park Zoo.

Both are amazing options to do while visiting NYC! From the snow leopard to the tropic zone, there are varying options no matter what the weather is outside at the Central Park Zoo. Experiencing larger than life exhibitions at the American Museum of Natural history was awe inspiring and the Milky Way tour is a must! All in all, you won't be disappointed with these 2 options!

Beautiful museum, lots of people and it was worth going. Very fascinating the size of the works but also the size of the museum itself that you visit on 4 floors.

It was good however the lines were really long and the staff seemed stressed. I went to see the marine and gem display and the butterfly exhibit.

I loved they had different animals from other zoos. I expected to see more animals. It was very small and short , I like the movie theatre is included but only one movie for a choice. I think 25 is much for such a small zoo. Food was extremely high and not very fresh. Will consider a different zoo next time
