Absolutely loved getting to see the penguins, and I appreciate the efforts the staff/rangers have made to keep the penguins safe. I do wonder if it would be beneficial to put up more signs along the path and at the beach about no phones or cameras. One or two signs at the entrance isn't enough, and I'm sure the staff/rangers have better things to do - like answering questions and supporting an enjoyable, safe night - than having to constantly tell patrons to put their phones away. I really reckon that more signs (maybe a handful with explanations of the importance of no phones/cameras) would go a long way in keeping the penguins safe. Thanks again for a wonderful night!

We came in a group of friends, and had the best time in anticipation of the little penguins coming out. It was such an experience to see the little fellas waddling up the sand right in front of us, it made the cold and wet weather absolutely worth it. We brought umbrellas and warm clothes, and though the kids were eagerly waiting, there wasn't too long of a wait until the little ones appeared! The hosts were experts in their knowledge and happy to answer any questions, and suggest best spots to get the best view. We were lucky enough to see some penguins along the side on continuing to their nest as we were walking out. It was an amazing experience for the whole family!

Loved the welcome , the descriptions and the quite hopeful wait for the tiny creatures to emerge from the shadows. What a lovely experience under a sky-full of stars. Honestly the participants could've been more thoughtful and support the crew by following the simple instructions given. But oh well, some just lack the decipline when it comes to enjoying nature. Kudos to the incredibly patient crew.

Took my daughter. Both of us were really looking forward to this and we're not disappointed. However, there needs to be more of a crackdown on people standing up and taking pictures. The staff do a tremendous job on trying to keep on top of this but I may suggest warning people then removing them from the area for not abiding.

It has been a great experience last night at Philips Island. We saw such little lovely penguins waddling from the sea to home. My children were so excited to watch them parading and kept talking about it all the way home. The staff were also very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this tour to everyone.

The passion of the people working hard to help the penguins; and the penguins themselves. Smart to have shops opened after the parade. But we did not like families of which kids threw sand at the silvergulls and people who wete noisy and made photos. Photos were not allowed so we can't share any.
