I took my mum as we have both watched the movie several times. It was brilliant and I can't fault the actors at all. The humour with the play definitely uplifted the whole atmosphere of the play. We sat at the back of the royal circle & it was difficult to see certain parts of the play but I know for next time to try and get a front seat. It was very emotional and I cried at the end. You could definitely feel how phantom felt having his heart broken by a woman he loved. Would recommend to anyone (who have watched the film at least). 5 STARS 🌟

I watched The Phantom of the Opera live in Boston, USA in 1996 and again in Taipei, Taiwan in 2020. The experience in Taipei wasn’t ideal due to venue limitations. However, the performance at His Majesty's Theatre this time was truly stunning overall—especially the chandelier rising to the ceiling and crashing toward the audience at the end of Act I. Unfortunately, I bought my ticket too late and ended up in a partially obstructed seat. Next time I visit London, I’ll be sure to choose a seat with an unobstructed view.

It was my first ever visit to a show. I was taken aback by the sheer quality of the performance, the singing, the dancing, the casting, the storyline and humour, the incredible special effects and artistry on the stage and the excellent stage changes which occured in seconds. It was a masterpiece. I never believed I could be affected so much by the emotion of the occasion. Buying the tickets online was easy, and I chose to print out the tickets in advance.

First performed in 1986, the Phantom of the Opera is one of the most popular and longest-running shows in the world. After its initial performance, it went on to win the 1986 Olivier award and the 1988 Tony award. With a score written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Charles Hart, the musical is a theatre phenomenon that continues to entertain people even today. Beneath the grand Paris Opera House lurks a shadowy figure—the Phantom—haunting its halls and secretly mentoring the young soprano Christine Daaé. As Christine’s voice soars, so does the Phantom’s obsession, drawing her into a mesmerizing yet dangerous world. Torn between her masked maestro and her devoted childhood love, Raoul, Christine’s fate unravels amidst a backdrop of chandeliers, opera, and breathtaking theatrical illusions.Will this mysterious “ghost” seduce Christine, or will she choose to be with Raoul?
