Pompei is a must visit, large and impressive. But be sure to stop at the restrooms when entering and bring your own Food and drinks (there are free waterpoints) because there is no Food aan beverage other than the restaurant by the station (which has a good kitchen!).

With my wife we have managed to reach the crater, it has cost me a lot because the COVID left my lungs half battered. In the crater we had breakfast, excellent chat with the vendors while waiting for the bus, very good experience.

Lovely place. Breathtaking views. Booklet with the ticket was a nice touch. I would strongly consider a free water despenser availability. Having limited shade it quickly runs out.

I couldn't book a std entry ticket from my home in Spain as they were sold out for my trip week, I booked through Headout and arrived at the visitor parking area and was directed to the Rep who had a bag ready with my name on and inside was a guide and a printed ticket, very easy and allowed me to enter easily and then climb up to the crater 🌋. Overall a great experience
