Loved the whole experience. The staff and facilities are awesome, reasonably priced souvenirs and the penguin experience very special indeed. I particularly liked the walk along the boardwalk which gave you very close views of the penguins heading home. Beautiful also watching the sunset before putting the camera away and just enjoying the night.

The highlight is the Penguin itself. Other than that we can enjoy the ocean, beach and the nature itself. It's beautiful to see the relation between human and nature itself at the Conservation Areas of Philip Island and Penguin Parade. Other than that the island serve multicultural and ethical background of Australia

The Phillip Island Nature Parks offer an immersive and memorable experience focused on Australian wildlife and conservation. Visitors can explore well-protected natural environments while learning about the importance of preserving fragile ecosystems. The highlight of the visit is the famous Penguin Parade, where little penguins return from the ocean at sunset and walk back to their burrows. This moment is both touching and impressive, made even more special by the calm and respectful atmosphere. Another key attraction is the Koala Conservation Reserve, which allows visitors to observe koalas resting in eucalyptus trees from elevated boardwalks that respect their natural habitat. The Nobbies area completes the experience with spectacular coastal views and informative displays about marine life. Overall, the parks are well organized, educational, and engaging, offering a perfect balance between discovery, nature, and environmental awareness.

Having bought the ticket for all 3 parks made it really easy. Very smooth to enter the parks and great that we were able to use it over 2days and not rush to go to all the parks on 1 day.

The best part was the old, authentic houses, which allowed us to experience what life was like around 100 years ago.
  • Meet Australia’s most iconic marsupials at the Koala Conservation Reserve

Enjoy a peaceful and educational day immersed in native bushland at the Koala Conservation Reserve on Phillip Island. With your entry ticket, you’ll stroll along treetop boardwalks and come face-to-face with koalas in their natural habitat. Surrounded by towering eucalyptus trees, the reserve offers a unique opportunity to observe these sleepy creatures eating, resting, and interacting with their environment.

    Explore the natural bushland trails

In addition to close-up koala encounters, the reserve is home to other native wildlife, including wallabies, echidnas, and bird species. The accessible trails, informative visitor centre, and ranger-led talks deepen your understanding of koala biology and ongoing conservation efforts.

Upgrade to the 3 Parks Pass

For a fuller nature experience, choose the 3 Parks Pass and gain access to Phillip Island’s top attractions:

    • Penguin Parade: Cap off your day with the world-famous Penguin Parade, where you’ll see little penguins waddle ashore at sunset from the general viewing platform.

    • Churchill Island: Step into history at this heritage farm and explore centuries-old cottages, traditional farming demonstrations, and scenic coastal walks.

    Penguin Parade upgrades

    • Penguins Plus: Enjoy VIP views from a limited-capacity, beachfront platform set along the penguins’ most-used pathway—offering the closest and most personal viewing experience of the parade.

    • Underground viewing: Stay cozy in the weatherproof underground viewing platform and watch the evening penguin parade at eye level. This fully sheltered option places you just inches from the penguins’ path, making for intimate and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Whether you're exploring the treetop trails of the Koala Conservation Reserve or experiencing the full 3 Parks adventure, this is an ideal way to connect with Australia's wildlife and natural beauty.
