Visiting Park Güell in Barcelona was truly a magical experience. Designed by the famous architect Antoni Gaudí, the park feels like stepping into a fairytale. The colorful mosaics, winding pathways, and unique architectural shapes create an atmosphere that is both artistic and peaceful. One of the highlights for me was the iconic terrace with the long serpentine bench covered in vibrant tiles – the view of Barcelona from there is simply breathtaking. I also enjoyed walking through the shaded stone columns and discovering hidden corners full of charm. The park is not just beautiful, but also inspiring, reflecting Gaudí’s creativity and connection with nature. It is a must-see attraction that combines art, architecture, and relaxation in one unforgettable place.

Park Güell is a must-visit spot in Barcelona, especially if you’re a fan of Gaudí’s work. The park is full of colorful mosaics, whimsical architecture, and stunning city views. Highlights include the famous mosaic lizard (El Drac), the serpentine bench, and the impressive columns of the Hypostyle Hall. The park combines nature with surreal design in a way that feels magical and unique. It’s a great place to stroll, relax, and take photos—but it can get quite crowded, so booking tickets ahead is a good idea. Also, be prepared for some uphill walking. Overall, it’s a beautiful and inspiring place that captures the creative spirit of Barcelona.

Visiting Casa Batlló feels like stepping into Gaudí’s imagination flowing shapes, shimmering colors, and details that feel alive. Yes, there are a lot of people, but the energy adds to the magic, with people from all over the world sharing the same awe. The audio guide turns each room into a story, and the rooftop, with its dragon-like curves, is pure wonder. More than a building, it’s a living artwork you’ll never forget. Once you visit you feel as though you're a part of history.

It was very nice, quiet and a pleasant atmosphere. If you're really prepared to take the long walk across the whole site, make sure you bring water! Especially on sunny days.

Hello, we were in Park Güell in August 2025. We particularly liked the park view. It is beautiful. What we didn't like was the audio guide. As the park has several entrances, we entered through the wrong entrance and the sequence of explanations was not correct. This should be improved. It was better at Casa Battlo with the signs. Thank you very much.

A great park that captures the art of Gaudi in many facets. Unfortunately, there is a lack of food, especially drinks, to keep you going for longer.

Explore the home of FC Barcelona with a 90-minute self-guided tour. This is not a mere stadium visit, but a chance to understand the heart and soul of the people of Catalonia. The ticket also includes exclusive access to the press box which offers great views of the mammoth stadium, along with the museum, the ground, the tunnel, and of course, the 'Messi Area'.

Enjoy a walk through the players' tunnel and experience what it feels like to be on the sideline as you sit in the players' dugout. Make sure to drop by the museum to revisit the roots of the stadium and admire the memorabilia lovingly collected over the years.

    Park Güell

Even though the Park Güell project, which was originally intended to be a residential park for aristocrats, was never fully completed, the Park itself is a stunning example of Gaudí's unique imagination and architectural prowess. With quirky elements such as columns that look like palm-tree trunks, a serpentine bench, a smiling dragon stretched in the middle of a divided stairway, the park is a playful blend of nature and architecture.

Park Güell is easily one of the most popular attractions in Barcelona, receiving over 5 million visitors annually. With a limited number of people allowed within each scheduled time slot for entry, we suggest you book in advance to get tickets at the most convenient time for you.

Note: Residents of the neighborhoods adjacent to Park Güell (El Coll, Vallcarca-Penitents, La Salut, El Carmel, Can Baró, and Baix Guinardó) and holders of the registered Gaudir Més enjoy free access from 7am to 9:30am (from July 1 to August 31) and from 8pm to 10pm. However, touristic visits are not allowed during the mentioned time slots.

  • Important Information

    Camp Nou

    • Please note: On La Liga and Copa del Rey match days, the stadium tour will be closed the full day, with access only to the museum and a panoramic view of the stadium until 2:45pm.

    • On Champions League match days, the stadium tour will not operate one day before and on the match day. You will only get access to the museum and a panoramic view of the stadium until 2:45pm.

    Park Güell

    • Due to conservation and maintenance works, some spaces might be under restoration.

    • The new regulation plan takes into account the needs of local residents in the neighborhoods adjacent to Park Güell (El Coll, Vallcarca-Penitents, La Salut, El Carmel, Can Baró, and Baix Guinardó) and guarantees them unrestricted access free of charge to all the year-round to enjoy the area. To enter the park, they will need to have a Neighbor or Gaudir Més card, which may be requested by the entrance staff.

    • Exploring Park Güell involves a lot of walking, given that its architectural features include uneven paths and multiple steps. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and carrying a bottle of water.

    • For visitors with mobility problems, Park Güell offers two free wheelchairs for hire (subject to availability). The tourist coach car park has three places for people with reduced mobility.

    • Pro tip: There are three entrances that allow you to enter Park Guell and they are located at Av. del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya (which you access by going up an escalator and even then it's pretty steep), and Carretera del Carmel, nº 23 (where the parking lot for coaches is located). If you wish to avoid a lot of climbing and stairs, take public transport (Bus #24) or a taxi to get to the entrance at Carretera del Carmel, which will be a mere 100 meters from the bus stop and the area with the monuments is just 100 meters inside the park from the gates. This 200-meter walk is mostly flat.

    Restrictions

All the recognizable and famous portions of Park Güell are located in a zone that includes lots of uphill climbs and stairs so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Access to the park is regulated in order to renovate and preserve this portion of the Park.
