The Rhinegold Tickets

Duration

2 hr 45 min

Experience the magic of Wagner's tempestuous score through The Rhinegold, a part of the composer's epic Ring Cycle saga.

  • Jealousy, greed, and lust - human attributes for sure, but they seem to run rampant among Gods too in Wagner's magnum opus. The forging of a prophesied ring plunges the realm of Gods and men into a time of chaos. As the Giants, deities, dwarfs, and nymphs clash against each other, the fate of the nine worlds hangs in a precarious balance.

The stand-alone opera is a part of Wagner's legendary Ring Cycle, brought to the London stage through ENO's five-year collaboration to present all the four epic operas in the cycle. Director Richard Jones brings The Rhinegold to the London Coliseum, riding on the resounding success of The Valkyrie's 2021 production. Wagner's electrifying score will be conducted by ENO Music Director Martyn Brabbins, with stunning choreography from Sarah Fahie. The stormy tale will only sweep through the London Coliseum for one month, so make sure you book tickets whilst availability lasts.
