Very easy to book this experience and to be honest I enjoyed this and found it more fasinating than visiting Doges Palace, St Marks Bell Tower or St Marks Basilica as it was something totally different to do. Our Guide was really friendly and answered all our questions and made sure everyone in the group was included. We had some small children in our group who did get a little scared at some of the stories but we all spoke to the kids to ensure they were ok. When we all congregated at the meeting place we were split into different groups, we were all English in our group which was a good idea as we all spoke to each other and made friends. All in all I would encourage you to book this as we learned a lot more about the legends of Venice which I hadnt found in any guide books.

We were NOT able to take the tour because we had difficulty finding the guide and since a number was NOT provided we could not contact the guide to help us with directions. We will definitely not resume.

When we booked, it was indicated on the description page that the tour would be in French. When we received our voucher, we were surprised to learn that the tour would be in English. The tour includes a few stories. Our guide, although friendly, stopped in the middle of a story after 1h05 of touring, saying she was too hard and didn't like the story, said goodbye and left... The tour was supposed to last 2 hours... Big disappointment.

You will be taken on a tour through one of Venice’s forgotten and spooky places. The tour will be done in the light of a candle, adding to the mystery. Your guide will explain the significance of the catacombs, and how they are considered a place of worship and reverence. You will discover a number of frescoes depicting spiritual images as you explore some of its most eerie and darkest corners. Soon, you will find yourself surrounded by skulls and a skeleton in a tiny alcove, seemingly abandoned and far away from being accessible by ordinary people.

You will explore some of the hidden places in Venice, and hear chilling stories and mysteries surrounding these areas. Tales of ghosts, curses, revenge, and apparitions from the guide promise to keep you thoroughly attentive and entertained!

A minimum of 2 people to a maximum of 15 people are allowed per booking.

The tour will also take place in case of rain, so please bring along a raincoat in case of bad weather. In the case of exceptionally high tide, the tour may be canceled and a refund will be provided

Please wear comfortable shoes since there will be a significant amount of walking during the tour
