A visit that at first sight seems long: 4 hours! Fortunately, just an hour before the end, a 15-mî break is welcome! And as the rest of the tour is the most impressive part (the Mezquita-Catedral), time flies. Even though the Alcázar is being restored and the gardens are open to the public, the explanations were a real plus. The visit was really rich and very enjoyable, especially thanks to our guide Noémie, who was very pleasant and interesting, with a touch of humor and a simple way of comparing history from yesteryear to the present day.

The tour was very good, with some incredible monuments. However, we were disappointed not to be able to visit the Alcázar and not to have been informed beforehand, which was dishonest. The guide, Genevieva, was extraordinary, a very fine performance.

    • Strict dress code: Please note that the shoulders and knees must be covered all the time as the Mosque-Cathedral is a religious space and shorts and tank tops are not allowed.

    • Pets are not allowed at on this experience, except guide dogs.

    • Tripods, selfie sticks, and flash photography are not allowed at any of the venues.

    • Smoking, drinking, and large bags and luggage aren't allowed on this experience.

    Accessibility

    • The Alcázar of the Christian Monarchs is not wheelchair accessible.

    Additional information

    • Access to the Bell Tower isn’t part of this ticket, so you’ll need a separate one if you’d like to go up.

    • The group must enter and leave the Mosque-Cathedral at the same time with their corresponding guide.

    • The interior of the Alcázar of the Christian Kings won't be accessible between July 2 and September 12 due to renovations. Your tickets include a tour of the gardens and the Caliphal Baths.
