We enjoyed the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kind. It was difficult to hear her at times, but there were a lot of people in these two places. I was very very disappointed with the St. Peter's Basilica. Our guide got us to the Basilica about 11:45, into the "skip the line" section and left. There were so many people on the steps trying to get in we were crowded in together. We made it to the top of the stairs and were told the Basilica was closed for two hours. They pulled the rope to keep us out at noon. We were so disappointed because our guide didn't tell us they would be closing at noon. Very frustrating. I would have given the experience a 3 star, but the first two visits were very good.

I had trouble buying tours in PORTUGUESE, so I bought them in Castilian. My children and wife didn't want to buy in another language. However, I managed to switch to PORTUGUESE on the spot. I suggest you have more options in PORTUGUESE. I was very well guided by the guide who enriched the tour with information. I climbed the dome, which is an incredible experience that offers incredible views from above. For those seeking an experience of faith, St. Peter's Basilica is sensational. I felt very fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit the Basilica. I recommend it! And a big congratulations to our guide Martinho, who was very friendly, polite and explained the tour in great detail.

The great tour guide. She told and explained things in a very interesting and understandable way. She was very personable and in a good mood - great! But the time management was a pity. When booking, it says that the tour through St. Peter's Basilica and dome ascent takes 1 - 2 hours. Unfortunately, we were only finished with the tour after 2 hours. As we had our return flight in the afternoon, we unfortunately had to skip the dome ascent. An honest indication of the time when booking would be desirable. The whole tour easily takes 3 hours.

The guide Susanna was great, punctuality met, very helpful and knowledgeable-all excellent. In addition, we discovered an excellent Molise restaurant for breakfast and lunch, near the agency from which the tour starts and tickets are picked up.
