I’ve been fascinated by the design of this building , so on my trip to London visiting the Shard was on my list of sites to see. And it didn't disappoint. It's beautiful, and the views are spectacular. I also enjoyed the talk the two men gave on the history of how ithe Shard was built, very interesting and fun.

Micheal, the shard knowledgeable guide. Micheal answered a question that my grandson asked him, of which fancinated my grandson. He told us lots of things that we would not have known if he hadn't told us. He captivated our attention with his kind way and being informative at the same time We then had to leave for our Chinese meal booked on the 33rd floor and again if it wasn't for micheal we would not have found how to get there Michael made such a impact to my grandson Jesse that he wants to do his job when he's older This was a birthday treat for Jesse on his 12th birthday. What a truly amazing day we had at the Shard From the guides on the way in,the bar people of course Micheal and our Chinese meal it was truly fantastic Kaz

The view was great and the platform was not overcrowded. The elevator ride alone is an experience. Only the free photos you get with it are a bit outrageous in my opinion. 4 free photos to download. 2 exactly the same and 2 with somewhat strange backgrounds. E.g. as a window cleaner. You can't choose freely. Other pictures have to be purchased. Of course you want to earn money from them, but then you can leave the free photos alone and only offer them for sale. Or just 1 free photo, but free choice. Possibly even with advertising on it.

    London from above, from 2 different perspectives. London Eye and the shard. All accesses were super professionally organized. We hardly had any waiting times (travel period mid / end of SEPTEMBER) BOOKING AND PAYMENT WENT SMOOTHLY.

    The view over London was really great, you could see very far and it felt like a miniature wonderland. Seating or digital information about the sights would have made the experience even better.

    I've never seen views that incredible! The whole of London lit up at night was fantastic! Couldn't recommend it enough even grabbed a little cocktail to go with it
