I had an amazing time at Thorpe Park! The rides are incredible, especially Stealth – the launch took my breath away and left me buzzing all day. The Swarm was another highlight, with the twists and near-misses making it such a unique experience. I also loved the water rides; they were a fun break from the rollercoasters and perfect on a warm day. The atmosphere around the park felt energetic and exciting, and it was great just walking between rides with music and laughter all around. The queues were a bit long at times, but it gave me a chance to soak up the vibe. Overall, I left with such a rush of adrenaline and plenty of memories—I’d go back in a heartbeat.

What to expect

Explore themed zones across the park like Angry Birds Land, The Lost City, and Amity Cove, each delivering a unique and immersive experience. Whether you’re chasing high-speed roller coaster action or looking for fun with the family, there’s something for everyone.

Halloween entertainment: Catch special events like Friday Nights during Halloween for rides like IT: The 4D Experience® in the dark, as well as scare shows like Shock to the System.

Thrill rides: Feel the rush on record-breaking coasters like Stealth, which catapults riders from 0 to 80 mph in just 2.3 seconds, and brace yourself for the 100ft vertical drop on SAW – The Ride. Soar on THE SWARM, the UK’s only winged roller coaster, offering a dramatic 60mph speed and suspended ride experience.

Family fun: For younger visitors and families, enjoy lighter attractions such as the High Striker and the kid-friendly Flying Fish rollercoaster.

Water adventures: Get soaked on Tidal Wave with its breathtaking 85ft plunge, enjoy a group ride on the winding Storm Surge, or race your loved ones down on the Depth Charge.

What’s not allowed

Safety is a priority, so the Halloween attractions are not recommended for guests under the age of 13 years and IT: The 4D Experience® ride is not recommended for guests under the age of 15 years.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along on this experience.

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair accessible.

Guests able to provide evidence of disability are entitled to bring a helper free of charge.

Safety first! This experience is restricted to people with back or neck issues, cardiac issues, high blood pressure, motion sickness, those who have undergone surgery recently, and pregnant women.

For guests using wheelchairs, please use the middle gates at the turnstiles.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue, but are not allowed on the rides.

Additional information

During Fright Nights®, all major rides and rollercoasters stay open late, so you can enjoy the thrills without the frights.

Prefer to skip the jump scares? Grab a No Scare Lanyard from Guest Services to let the actors know not to approach you. The No Scare Lanyard is only effective during Fright Nights® in the Scare Zones. Lanyards must be worn on the outer layer of clothing and be clearly visible. If the actor cannot see the lanyard, e.g., if approached from behind, or hidden under clothing, they may still scare you.

Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Each ride has its own height restrictions, ranging from 1.4 m minimum to 1.96 m maximum.

If you are planning to leave the park, ensure you get a hand stamp to allow re-entry.

Facilities: toilet, changing places facility, first-aid, parking, free Wi-Fi, and lockers.
