Paris for history geeks

There was a huge line, but we got in in like a minute. The Pantheon itself was a phenomenal site to witness. Also in the crypts there was a lot of groups of youth who were talking about milestones of people who sleep there forever now. It just made me believe in future a little bit more!

My visit to the Musée des Invalides was a real dive into history. Upon arrival, the architecture commands respect and silence. Each room tells a piece of France's military past. Backstage and other inaccessible areas during the tournament. Locker rooms, press rooms, a statue of Nadal or a fresco of Yannick Noah are all there to be discovered. The museum with mythical objects from former players is a must-see.

It's nice but I wished if they give us at least water it was a long trip and at the end I forgot where to wait and I couldn't remember our crew I kept waiting and searching everywhere I just remember the woman who took us at the beginning but she didn't come to pick us but thank god I stayed with a random group and when the bus came I asked them if they are the same group and the guide looked to my ticket and approved 😰

Our guide made sure to keep us safe, informed,we learned the history of the Tower and the view was unforgetable❤️ We put the freezing aside and really enjoyed the view!

Our guide was great, very knowledgeable, very personable! It was very crowded...days before Christmas...but she moved us through the crowds to key points. Notre Dame has been beautifully restored and renovated, it was great to be back again and share the experience and appreciate the labor of all those involved in the repair and restoration.
