Best things to do in Loire Valley

Chenonceaux Castle and gardens were fantastic, it was a very crowded day however they gave everyone a time slot for the Castle so although it was packed people still had plenty of room and time to see everything. Entry price was very reasonable, there are boats and a challenging Maze. Food was excellent and the dining areas were very clean with plenty of staff who were all very friendly.

Magnificent gardens, the vegetable garden too, makes you want to go picking. I recommend this site, it's super beautiful and the Belvedere is the best 👍

Beat the hustle by visiting this charming chateau in the countryside. Stroll through quaint little town and enjoy a delicious lunch on the grounds. Beat the line by prebooking tickets during peak times, although not necessary for early morning entry.

Hard to imagine from below, but the Château Royale d'Amboise is really beautiful. The Histopad provides further insights into the history of the castle and vividly presents the various inhabitants. The garden is also beautifully laid out.

The service offered by head out was excellent: very easy and faired priced. We entered straight forward, without doing any queues. The castle was an impressive work of architecture, I felt like going back to the past.

Magnificent place, the castle not too big, you could almost live there. Everything about Leonardo Da Vinci is fascinating. The park is very soothing and full of wonderful discoveries.

The gardens were magnificent, ingenious and resplendent, and the visit to the château and the artists' works was interesting. In short, everything was perfect, as was the quick access with no waiting time thanks to ticket registration on the telephone.

Puy Du Fou offers superb value for money. We were amazed by the attraction which is so very different to any other. Everything from parking to accessing the spectacular shows to buying food is slick and well organised. The entire park appeared to be spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Our only regret is that we didn't purchase a two day ticket because we only really sampled a small percentage of what's on offer. Can thoroughly recommend for all ages.
