We’ve just experienced much more than just a day at the park. We’ve traveled through the centuries. At Puy du Fou, everything comes together with rare perfection: technical prowess serves art, and art serves history. Gigantic, moving sets; breathtaking special effects; hundreds of animals roaming freely; stunts; fire; water; thousands of hand-sewn costumes... and yet, technology never overshadows the emotion. It elevates it. Each show is a total work of art. We cry, we tremble, we applaud wildly. We journey from the trenches of Verdun to ancient Rome, from the Vikings to the Musketeers, with the same commitment to historical accuracy and the same respect for our roots. This isn’t an amusement park—it’s a lesson in love for France, brought to life by thousands of passionate volunteers and artists. It’s a park you have to see at least once in your life. Truly. A heartfelt thank you to Philippe de Villiers, who had this crazy idea in 1978, and to all those—artisans, technicians, actors, costume designers, stagehands, and volunteers of the Cinéscénie—who, for nearly 50 years, have poured their hearts and souls into bringing this marvel to life. We leave feeling moved, grateful, and already eager to return. *Puy du Fou isn’t just a place to visit. It’s an experience to be lived.*

Easy-to-use interface, ticket price matches the standard public price, and tickets are valid until 2018 (incredible!). No time slot restrictions for the visit, unlike what is required on the official Château de Chambord website.

The staff was very friendly and mostly young, which my girlfriend and I really appreciated. The check-in went very smoothly. The meal and the breakfast were good. I highly recommend it!

We were captivated by the human and technological feats on display in ALL the shows. The organization of the shows and the condition of the venue at all times of the day revealed to us the level of commitment shown by the venue’s managers. Our experience completely contradicts that of the critics. Finally, a big THANK YOU to Philippe De Villiers. (We wouldn’t have any photos to share with you. We were so captivated that we didn’t take any!)

The castle is impressive; you can tour it in 3–4 hours. The introductory video is particularly noteworthy, as it explains the castle’s history under the patronage of King Francis I, a great hunter and architecture enthusiast. Also worth noting is the collection of buttons featuring animal motifs, as the king was passionate about hunting. The staircase designed by Leonardo da Vinci is impressive.
    • Explore the majestic Chambord Castle, built by King François I, exploring over 60 lavish rooms and the grand gardens with skip-the-line access.
    • Marvel at the architectural wonder of the castle's double-helix staircase, a unique design attributed to Leonardo da Vinci.

In addition to the magnificent shows, the stunning sets, and the breathtaking effects, the venue is very clean and the staff is very friendly. We noticed that despite the heat during our visit, the huge number of visitors, and the fact that we sometimes had to wait in direct sunlight, the atmosphere remained calm and courteous—no one got upset or annoyed.

A very beautiful castle, though the grounds are in poor condition due to the current drought, and there aren’t enough benches in the park to rest on. Picnics are allowed, but I didn’t see any trash cans, so be sure to take your trash with you when you leave. The price, including paid parking (€21 + €8), is a bit expensive.

The Chennenceaux and Chambord Castle are amazing. The details, the workmanship, the horse show, the size and the helpful staff are all noteworthy. We had a wonderful time. Do not forget to rent your tablets expecially if you have kids with you.

This was my first time visiting this magnificent place... Chambord is a magical place 🧙 despite a severe drought this year, which has unfortunately left the gardens looking a bit barren... It was a unique experience, thanks to the kind and attentive staff...
