This was a great tour, and definitely a great price for what you get. Our tour guide, Liliana, was great, very knowledgeable and you could tell she really cared about the archaeology of Teotihuacán. The food at the restaurant was good (but I don't think pre-paying for buffet was necessary, depends on your preferences) and the obsidian shop and happy hour was fun and fairly priced. Everything about our tour was great, I'm only taking off one star because the initial meet-up place and time was changed, one hour before the tour started, at 5:20 am so we went to the wrong place. Thankfully we got there early and still had some time to get to the correct place. In the end, it all worked out, but added a bit of unnecessary stress.

If you want to get everything possible out of a trip to Teotihuacan then you will want to book this tour with Alan! The sites are of course the best part but the next best part was the passion and knowledge Alan shared with the group along the way. Keeping us moving but leaving no stone unturned I feel like if we didn't have Alan the trip would not have been as great. "Mexico is not a shot of tequila and good tacos, it's a land of knowledge and rich culture" as he put it. If you want to get the most out of this city and these sites go with this tour!

The early tour is a great experience. The bus ride is smooth and they make a stop so that you may use the restroom and grab a snack or coffee. There are no crowds whatsoever when you arrive, which makes for some excellent photos. Lots of time spent at the pyramids, including climbing them, which was amazing. Lunch is not included but is at a spot that we really enjoyed. We felt that we had ample time and were not rushed, but still made it back to CDMX by 3 pm.
