We arrived at 9am and went straight in, no queues. Not the friendliest of staff but someone did help us find our cabin which I'd describe as more of a wardrobe than a cabin. Outdoor pool was 38 degrees whilst being -4 outside, not busy at all at 9am so had a good experience. Inside pools were ok, smelt a little but seemed clean, nothing special beyond the fact there's 15 pools. Went back out about 10.30 & outside pool was much busier so def recommend getting there early. Tip - if you can hear it don't take your towels out with you they are either freezing so unpleasant to use or if they get wet they will be ice cubes when you get out.

Our day was very smooth and it was very stress-free because Headout it's so independent and had every information that you needed in their site. So it made our day even better because we've planned it ahead. We just went there showed our ticket and we entered the facilities. Simple as that. The baths were amazing very relaxing and we enjoyed our day. I will definitely recommend booking through Headout is very easy and also cheaper than other sites. I always book everything from Headout because as I said previously, it has all the information that you need and it's so simple.

We really liked everything, starting from the location - it’s very convenient to reach the thermal baths by metro - and ending with the wide choice of pools and attractions. You can easily spend the whole day here: there are several saunas and both indoor and outdoor pools. We tried everything and were very satisfied. The showers and changing rooms are very clean, and there is no problem finding a free locker. The interior is very beautiful and has a vintage atmosphere. The biggest impression on us was made by the outdoor pools, where you can have a really fun time.

Had a great time at the Széchenyi baths! It's very large, with lots of pools at different temperatures—awesome! I chose the option with a cabin, and I don't regret it. We were given a wristband that gave us access to a cabin area with a closed door where we could change and leave our belongings safely. As for the swimming cap, it's only for the "traditional pool" for swimming, not the other outdoor or indoor pools. Don't forget your flip-flops for walking between the different pools. I recommend it, it's worth the detour!

If you're in Budapest, you can't miss the Széchenyi Thermal Baths. Outdoor pools, saunas, hot tubs... a great way to unwind and relax surrounded by stunning architecture. The best part: even if it's cold outside, stepping into those warm waters is an incredible feeling. Booking through Headout is super convenient: you skip the lines and can choose your schedule without stress. Plus, there are options with massages or VIP packages if you want to treat yourself to something extra. Seriously, it's a unique experience that's well worth it, and Headout makes everything so much easier.

We came here for my birthday and had the most amazing day. We booked the basic package but also paid for a private locker. On arrival we decided to upgrade to VIP which made it a whole different experience. Weather was perfect. Only thing that could have made it better would have been to have more sunbeds out. And because we had already paid extra for a private changing room I felt we paid for that aspect of it twice as it is included in the VIP package. But all in all it was a fantastic day. Would definitely come again

Visited on a Friday during school term so I knew it would be quieter. It was a cold day in January but if you can ignore the cold then you don't need to walk about with a towel. It is recommended to bring your own towel and water proof sandals as they charge A LOT to have theirs and you cannot rent them. It is easy to find and the bus routes there are straight forward (we used google maps and all the times etc were perfect). Once arriving turn right through the doors and you will see the booking in section. You then walk through and present your wrist band to pass through the turnstills and they show you to either the communial changing area or the private cubicals (we paid for a cubical). It is worth noting the private cubical is only large enough for 1 adult or 1 young child and a parent, other than that if you only book 1 then you have to wait your turn but you can store your clothing and lock behind with the wrist band. If you go for communial changing you have an individual locker to use, in hindsight we should have just gone with the communical changing area as it wasn't busy and not worth the upgrade. Once you are in the pools and spas etc it is so relaxing. Worth getting there early as it does get busier after lunchtime. There were reviews of miserable staff and not being very clean but apart from one we never saw any dirty areas and all the pools and spas were clean with no issues. We found that later in the afternoon one of the large indoor spas had some dirt floating so we avoided that one, and I believe this is due to the time of day (later on) with larger volumes of visitors so it was bound to have dirt somewhere. The staff weren't the most happy so I do agree with other reviews about them being a bit abrupt and miserable but majority of the youngsters English is very good. It's a fantastic place to visit but time it right and avoid crows. We spent 5 hours there and looking foward to visiting again in the future. The price is very good for the time that we spent there, loads of different pools/spas to visit but their items for sale are silly prices and not everything is open off peak.

The thermal baths were a very interesting experience and I highly recommend them to anyone visiting the city. I advise you to bring towels, otherwise you will have to rent them on site. As for the additional services, in my opinion, priority boarding and the private cabin are not essential. The lockers are perfectly adequate, especially since the baths are closer to the locker area than to the cabins. In addition, several cabins were open, making access less exclusive. The price seemed reasonable to me given the size and the experience offered. The space is very large, with numerous large pools. However, for those who have little time in Budapest, it may be more appropriate to book only a morning or an afternoon, as it is difficult to enjoy everything in a few hours, given the size of the complex. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience. On the downside, I would only mention the friendliness of the staff, which could be more welcoming. Still, it was clearly a worthwhile visit.

A beautiful March day but not all sun loungers were put out so there was nowhere to sit. We asked staff for loungers to be told to look (obviously there weren't any as we had indeed looked prior to asking). Had to buy flip flops as they are a requirement. Not advised that we needed them! Extortionate at £8 a pair. Private changing booths are small and you were not told where to go to locate these. Place very dated. Lots of pools to use. Sauna was out of order when we went. Only stayed for an hour. Disappointing.
