The Széchenyi Baths in Budapest are an experience you absolutely must have at least once. The place is stunning, with impressive architecture and outdoor thermal pools that are amazing, especially in winter. The atmosphere is top-notch: you can relax in the warm waters while watching people play chess or simply enjoying the moment. It’s the perfect way to unwind for a couple of hours. That said, it’s important to note: it’s usually pretty crowded and can feel a bit overcrowded at times, especially if you go during peak hours. Even so, there are plenty of pools and space to move around. Overall, it’s a highly recommended experience: it’s not the quietest place in the world, but it is one of the most iconic and special spots in Budapest. If you can, go early or at sunset to enjoy it to the fullest.

“I had an amazing time at both Sparty and Széchenyi Baths. Széchenyi Baths were absolutely beautiful, with stunning architecture, relaxing thermal pools, and a really unique atmosphere that made the whole experience feel special. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy one of Budapest’s most famous attractions. Sparty was a completely different vibe, but just as unforgettable — energetic, fun, and unlike anything I’ve experienced before. The music, lights, and overall atmosphere were incredible, and it was such a fun way to enjoy the baths at night. I really enjoyed both experiences and would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Budapest, whether you’re looking to relax, have fun, or both.

Visiting the Széchenyi Baths was amazing! The staff were very welcoming. The best part is having access to private changing rooms where you can leave your belongings and fully enjoy the setting without worrying about anything else. There are indoor and outdoor pools with water temperatures over 34°C There’s a pool for swimming laps and others just for relaxing with jets of varying intensities. We were lucky to have sunshine—it was fantastic. However, by late morning it was crowded, so I recommend going early. As for the tour of the Parliament, it was spectacular to see! It’s a must-see if you’re visiting Budapest.

The audio-guided tour of the Hungarian Parliament Building was essential for understanding the significance of this architectural masterpiece and its importance in Hungarian history. It is a beautiful building that houses statues of the kings and Queen Maria Theresa of Austria, as well as the Crown of Hungary. The visit to the Upper House was also very interesting. I recommend always booking in advance, as this is a very popular tour and you risk not being able to get in if you don’t plan ahead. IMPORTANT: Don’t miss the visit to the ’56 Memorial in the Parliament Square, so as not to forget history and to understand the present.

Both experiences were amazing. The spa was very relaxing, especially when you can enjoy both cold and hot pools, as well as saunas. We went on a sunny day and had a great time both outside and inside—you really have to make the most of it. I recommend spending at least four hours to visit all the facilities. As for the cruise, it was much more crowded and there were a lot of children. We took the 7:30 p.m. tour. For this simple reason, I’d recommend going later—around 9:00 p.m. would be great—so there are fewer people and fewer children. The views are spectacular.

The tour of the parliament was great, and the ticket distribution was very well organized. The interior is truly magnificent. As for the thermal baths, I recommend booking private changing rooms so you can get changed comfortably and keep your belongings safe. The setting is incredible. It’s hard to get out of the water once you’re in 😍
