SoloVerified booking2 days ago5/5I had the opportunity to visit the Hungarian Parliament building on July 1, 2026, through a tour organized by Headout. I am grateful to Headout for this arrangement. Everything went smoothly. I had to exchange the online ticket on my phone for a physical ticket at the ticketing counter. I was granted entry at the exact scheduled time. After going through security, I picked up headphones and listened to the tour guide's explanations while exploring and taking photos. The building is one of the most beautiful, majestic, splendid, and largest government buildings in the world. The grandeur of the entrance staircases, the gold-leaf decorations, paintings, and artistic sculptures adorning the halls, and the royal coronation regalia and emblems constantly guarded by two soldiers in the center—all are priceless treasures of the country. When I saw the two soldiers standing guard motionlessly for long shifts, I, as a spectator, felt proud. I think the soldiers themselves also would consider it a proud privilege. Photography is not allowed in this central hall. After that, I explored the Upper House chamber, and then in the basement, there were miniature models, photographs, and explanations showing how the Parliament building was constructed, how the rooms are arranged, and how it is maintained and preserved. On the basement floor, there is a gift and souvenir shop, and in the middle of the main hall, a video is continuously playing on a screen. If you come to Budapest, this is a must-see. The entrance fee for non-EU citizens is around $50, so it is a bit pricey. Nevertheless, it is worth it.CCardullo F
GroupVerified booking2 weeks ago4/5The facility offers various types of packages, each with a specific entrance that may not be immediately obvious, but the staff are happy to provide directions. The outdoor area is the largest and most spacious, featuring three pools, and there are lounge chairs along the edges that are available to guests if you’re lucky enough to find them free. Inside, we found three areas with pools and saunas that were closed for maintenance. There is some moisture on the ceilings of a few rooms, but this is acceptable given the nature of the facility. Staff regularly come by with mops to remove any water residue on the floor. Since the space is very large, we had no trouble finding a spot in the various pools and saunas, which are ultimately quite similar to one another. The cruise, which departs at 8:30 PM to take advantage of both sunlight and the effect of the illuminated buildings after sunset, allows you to take photos with different atmospheres. The boat was spacious and well-organized; the open-air area on the upper deck is perhaps a bit small and doesn’t offer space for a large number of people. The audio guide is accessible via a phone app; it may not start automatically at the various points of interest even with GPS enabled, but the information provided is still comprehensive.EEsquirol C
CoupleVerified bookingJun 20265/5We booked a pass that included a locker, and we went there at 8 a.m. on a Thursday. We got in very quickly—there was no line. There are small changing rooms with large lockers to store your belongings. In the morning, we started with the indoor pools. Very few people in some of the pools—we were alone. There are lockers next to each pool to put your phone, towels, etc. There are many pools with different temperatures. Very pleasant. Around 10 a.m., we went to the outdoor pools... really nice... there were a few more people, but it was fine. There were plenty of lounge chairs... we stayed until noon. Great experience.MMartín M
