Last week

Dining was unexpectedly sudden but the food was good as i was starving. Sights initially were interesting but got boring unless you moved from left to right on the boat. The jazz band was awesome but somewhat set away from where people sit to get a view either inside or outside.

The Jazz Cruise was such a delightful way to spend a hot afternoon in a NOLA summer! Getting onto the boat was quick and easy, and the food was delicious. The band, Steamboat Stompers, played a wide variety of music and kept going through a majority of the cruise. The captain's tour was informational, humorous, and not overbearing as to detract from the actual ride. There was a lot of space to stand and sit for views, and staff was helpful and kind. There's a cute little gift shop, and for young kids (or adults who want it), they have ice cream from the bar for an extra charge.

Until March 2026, either the Steamboat NATCHEZ or Riverboat CITY of NEW ORLEANS may host your cruise, depending on operational schedules and private charter arrangements. Either way, this two-hour cruise includes live jazz, craft drinks, and views of New Orleans best seen from the top deck.
