The dining experience was incredible. Delicious food - the seafood pasta and gumbo was my favorite - the atmosphere was a trip back in time (with air conditioning). I recommend eating dinner first while docked so when the boat takes off, you're free to roam about to see the engine room, the river, and the band on the top floor, which was excellent. Everything about the evening was fantastic. The next time we travel to New Orleans, we will definitely be having dinner on the Natchez again.

Great seating in dining hall an upper deck where the band played. Loved the view of the city as the boat cruised. Was expecting more African American or African Decent as waiters and waitresses. The food was good, and on a average of a 7 points. Overall good experience for my husband, friends and I's first experience on the Sreamboat Cdinner cruise in new Orleans.

Great way to combine many experiences in one outing! I had 4 guest visiting New Orleans and all had different request and were here only for a short visit. The Natchez Steamboat cruise offered a great meal, excellent jazz music, informative history of New Orleans, lovely sunsets and wonderful photo opportunities. It was a 60th birthday for one of my guest and the band wished her and 4 other guest on the cruise a Happy Birthday which made the evening totally special!!

If in New Orleans this is a must , from the service , food , history , couldn't ask for a better cruise along the Mississippi, the jazz band were great . Loved the buffet and trying the local cuisine, this cruise was also well priced and good value for money

Everything was amazing from start to end. The food and service was exceptional and the band was amazing. Even the photographers finding us to show our pictures. We highly recommend.

Shirts and shoes are a must for all cruises. If you're joining the Dinner Jazz Cruise, opt for “dressy casual.” Skip the jeans and go for dress pants, a skirt, or a nice blouse. Guys, a collared shirt—button-down or polo—adds a polished touch.

Both the Steamboat NATCHEZ and Riverboat CITY of NEW ORLEANS will alternate departures depending on scheduling needs and private events until March 2026, when they’ll adopt individual timetables. Either way, you'll still enjoy two hours of live jazz, cocktails, and Crescent City charm—best experienced from the top deck of your steamboat.

Boarding starts 1 hour before departure, so get there on time for a relaxed check-in.
