It was nice to receive a welcome drink, and convenient to be able to order something to eat as well. In my opinion, it’s best to take this cruise after sunset, when the city’s beauty really shines. The nighttime Danube river cruise was one of the highlights of our trip to Budapest. If the church area is closed for a special ceremony, you can start your visit with the terrace and treasury and then return to the church once it reopens.

You can take one of the two elevators to reach the terrace or climb 160 steps if the elevator has long queues.
