Superb visit despite the crowds due to the basilica being closed in the morning. The guide was perfect, full of anecdotes and attention to detail, conveying his passion and love for this monument. The climb up to the dome was well worth it, with its magnificent 360° view of Rome and Vatican City. The only downside is that the meeting point is poorly signposted, as it's a guide with a flag that shouldn't be blue. And it would be simpler to have a bus stop for the meeting point or a reserved room.

The management of the company was impeccable, on time and at the meeting point marked on the app. The place is already beautiful but the truth is that Valentina the tour guide has made it 10. A very perfected Spanish in addition to having a tireless memory of dates and data, but the best thing was her closeness. I would come back and recommend to get your tickets from this page.

Our guide Frederico was very generous with explanations and enriching comments. There's not a square inch of the basilica that isn't richly decorated - it's absolutely fabulous. A must-see in a lifetime, and make sure you take the time to impregnate your brain with all these marvels.

  • Embarking on a journey through time

Commence your journey through time in Vatican City, the smallest country in the world, where your guide awaits to take you on an exploration of St. Peter's Basilica, the largest Basilica in the world. Step into the grandeur of Roman Catholicism, where art, history, and spirituality merge in a stunning spectacle of architectural brilliance. Marvel at the ornate interiors, discover Michelangelo's 'Pieta', the only sculpture he ever signed, and gaze upon Bernini's Baldachin, a massive bronze canopy standing directly over St. Peter's tomb. While the Basilica's construction took over a century, every minute spent here feels like a moment frozen in time.

From sacred tombs to panoramic views

Your journey continues to the Papal Grottoes, where the solemn tranquility belies the vibrant lives and legacies of the popes buried here. As the tour concludes in St. Peter's Square, you might be surprised to learn that the iconic dome, visible throughout Rome, was Michelangelo's design but was completed after his death. For those who crave an unparalleled view of Rome, ask your guide for directions to St. Peter's Dome. A climb to its heights rewards you with a breathtaking panorama, a fitting end to this enriching voyage through history.
