a great experience for the group of 4 we had in Venice. We picked up our tickets 15 mins before our designated time and had no issue whatsoever going through the crowds. and it is a great locaiton too, just a few minutres walk from the St Marco's Basilica. I highly recommend

I was disgusted by the sexist asshole who claimed that my daughter's shorts were too short for entry - even though they were the same length as mine. When I asked "if my daughter were a boy would you let her in with those shorts?", and the guy said yes!!!! What an asshole! So warn your female customers to cover up - but the men don't need to worry. It's 2024 - time for Italy to catch up!

Easy to pick up the tickets from the office just a 5 minute walk from St. Mark's. Friendly staff. It's very helpful to be able to skip the line. Appreciated the free Venice travel guide (and would have come earlier in our stay to pick up the tickets if we had known about the book).

It was fast. But it wasn't clear that what I had was a boucher that needed to be converted to a ticket. Also, there was no clear directions where to exchange the voucher for a ticket. I mean, what is the point of a voucher when the app should just give a barcode for/as ticket?

Easy directions to find meeting spot to collect tickets using google maps, staff there really helpful with downloaded audio guide. Basilica was well worth a visit,stunning building inside and out. Easy to access with skip the line tickets as they have a separate entrance. We hadn't booked the museum and viewing platform but can pay €7 while there, worth the extra as it has great views of the inside the Basilica and outside of St Marks Square.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: All guests must wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees to enter the basilica.
Keep your camera tucked away – photography is strictly not allowed at the venue.

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.
A ramp is available at the Porta del Fiori (Door of Flowers) entrance on the left-hand side of the basilica.
The Museum on the upper floor of the basilica is served by both a lift and stair lifts.

Additional information

Strictly use earphones when inside the Basilica (they will also elevate your audio guide experience)!
The venue does not have a smartphone charging facility. Please ensure you charge your phone before your visit to enjoy an uninterrupted digital audio guide experience.
You cannot enter with luggage. There is Luggage Storage in Piazzetta dei Leoncini, a few meters from the Basilica.
