Using Headout to purchase Sao Jorge castle tickets seemed like a great way to avoid the long line at the castle ticket counter. However, after buying the tickets online the confirmation email said we would receive the tickets vie email within 2 HOURS! What could possibly take so long?! We were almost at the front of the ticket line by the time the tickets arrived in my inbox, ~ 45 minutes after purchasing them. The castle visit itself was terrific & the weather cooperated wonderfully.

I visited with my mother at the end of October. The place is beautiful and special, and we got gorgeous photos with the view of Lisbon in the background. Please note: it's not recommended for wheelchair users—it is practically impossible to get around.

Had a great time and enjoyed the castle. Was easy to order. If I had a criticism it took about an hour for the tickets to come through from the time we ordered them, our group felt that was a bit long for an online order. Usually tickets are immediately sent when ordered on line. Otherwise was a good experience.
